Lorianne ... please may you know ...

Lorianne ...

Please may you know ...

I've just tried to leave a message in the Opium Den and then to you as a friend ...

Can't seem to do either ...

I've barely been here recently ... life changes and  ... priorities change ...

but ... thanks to you ... dear one ... I always have known ...

that you and space has been here ...

I came here first ... when you offered us a space to be safe should Open close ...

I came here first ... to be able to speak with Kim and with Rita ... who had already come ...

You mentioned in your note today ... that so few had helped fund you here ...

I feel so guilty of having not helped more than by buying books on Amazon ??? to give you some of that price ...

I seem to remember Kim offering to have one of his beautiful paintings that have lived here be made into a tee shirt and I knew I would buy a hundred of those ...   I would do that still ...

When Rita told us here ... of his passing ...

how many of us were able to be here together to grieve one of our own ...

perhaps ... the best ... of our own ...

Dear Kim ...

one last time ... here  ... where you chose to be ...

here ... a bit  ... of ... Teralba ... for you ... and for ...

all of us ... who fell in love ... as you did ...

with words ... and with land ... and with dreams ...

Open began to close its door ... and you ... Lorianne ...

opened your door here ...

you brought us in ... to keep us safe ...

you gave us everything ...

I am so sorry that I didn't help ... and then ...

that as life needed me elsewhere ...

I let it pull me away ...

Lorianne ... please know ...

please ... deep in your soul ... know ...

how much you gave us all ...

please know ... and may your heart swell ...

with love from all who have felt love here ...

It is like Wal-Mart ruined another small community downtown.

It is also opportunity to go back to supporting writers and use any of the plethora of ways to complain about what are now our fascist politics.

Best Writer ever was definitely Drew Silla, but, what do you expect from Royalty

Somehow there should be another site we can migrate to. How do you set one of these up?

just read Our Salon was closing. I don't blame Lorianne. Our Salon was here when I needed it. I kind of abandoned her for other sites (a lot of those are closed now too. I just been using Blogger.com and Wordpress for my blogging needs. There's also poets.media which is okay. ) **Group hug**

Maui Surfer, Ron, Mike, Tinkertink, koshersalaami, Anna, Jonathan ...

so many memories shared ...

Thinking too of dearest Art ... how often he reminded souls to dance ...

I'll always be grateful to Open for allowing us and so many others to meet, to think, to write, to share ...

But here ... here ... Lorianne ... you ... opened and created Our ... with all of us in mind ...

I remember, Lorianne, in the beginning ... when you were actively creating this site ...

You asked and you listened as you lovingly stretched and grew and helped all of us find home here ...

You picked us up and helped us find a new shore ... a new stretching place of our own ...

I so wish that Our ... would always be here ...

I am better aware of how much it has meant ... by how much I begin to grieve ...

You gave your all ... to all of us ... Lorianne ... for all this time ...

Thank you ... dear one ... thank you ...

Please know ... please know ...

That your heart ... will always be ... so warmly held ...

by hearts you allowed to breathe here ... to be ... here ...

to dance ... and smile ... sometimes scream ... and laugh ... here ...

Your ... Our ... our ... Our ...  will ... always be here ...

in ... every one ... of Our ... hearts ...
