No sky No ground Just a shifting breeze
~ acrylic on canvas, M.C.S.
In photography, painting and other visual arts, middle grey or middle gray is a tone that is perceptually about halfway between black and white on a lightness scale; in photography, it is typically defined as 18% reflectance in visible light.
I’ve been working on the darker end of this scale following an injury seven weeks ago however my goal is to keep working toward the middle of this scale keeping in mind that I wish to reach the lighter zone and once again enjoy the light and colours that are enjoyed in that area of the spectrum.
Oh you know I love this!!!! So sorry you were injured. I missed you here. Isnt it amazing how art keeps coming into our lives and keeps us focused on reaching the light. Hugs to you and I love that painting!!!
R&L, Look forward to seeing more in the progression along the spectrum.
I am sorry to hear you've had an injury. but glad to see you back here again. There is music in this piece. Rhythm and motion. Sparkles of high tones against a sonorous bass. Lovely.
there is movement in the photo
Hello. So glad to see your work M. It feels like the reeds underwater to me. Keep working owards the light...in a grounded way.:D
I lurve b&w, finding it far more expressive than colour. But that's me. Anyway, I trust you're OK now.
