I figured it out.

Can't do it.

Came back here a few days ago, to honor Trig.  Realized while writing the post which disappeared that Joisey was the reason I stopped, and today I realize he is the reason I can't restart.

In the past two days I have gotten Spam friend requests on FB from two people; one with one friend one with three.

Know how often I get Spam friend requests on FB?

Literally never, ever, ever, ever, ever.

So, there it is.

Haven't seen Joisey in months.  Most trolls tend to steer clear from Our Salon.

DaisyJane, Joisey left. He asked Lorianne to remove his account and she did. He made a deal of it before he left, saying that unless his account was deleted, he'd be tempted to come back and harangue. You can safely post without fear. Facebook, I don't know about....

He still reads in.  I read that in one of tr ig's comment threads.  It was the new year's eve one!  They had talked on the phone, he said.  I swear, that's what I read.  I made some sort of a smart ass comment, like was Joisey real, and it 'felt' like tr ig was calling me down, saying of course he is real, and he was planning on meeting up with him sometime.  I did try to make 'friends' with him, on here at one time and it totally back fired, made me out to look a fool.  That was on Kage Alan's bully post.  Hadn't seen Kage around for awhile, either.  He made a note on his face book, before he left, saying he was just taking a break and everything was okay.

If he reads but can't comment, then no harm done. Did he stalk you Julie? I think he might have stalked DaisyJane. I was not in the loop then, so not sure of the deets, but there were a few women.

He used to make fun of the OS 'arteeests', he called them. I appropriated the name, and made fun of him back, so did Kim, referred to ourselves as the OS arteeeeeeeeeeests, with three times as many e's. He left me pretty much alone after that. It seems if you don't care what he thinks, he loses interest. DaisyJane, maybe giving him his own post is like leaving jelly on the kitchen counter, likely to draw out the insects.

I'm sorry you've had struggles here in the past, Daisy.

I'd *really* love to see a post on why someone Loves to post here on OurS, because, some of us really do love to come here when it's right, whatever magic makes that happen, and this site could use some praise titles for headlines, frankly.

We've most of us on here found people we deeply care about, in one form or another, for some of us, we've found many people, we've found community at times - where else does that happen online?

What Anna said.

It takes a little work to figure out how to be here. Sometimes I roam around below ground, to posts and comments not on the feed. Sometimes the feed, like today. Sometimes I'm not here for weeks or months. When I check in again, there's always someone I'm glad to see.

DaisyJane, I don't know you, but seems good sense if you want to join in to give it a try, especially if the person you wanted to avoid isn't here anymore.

Daisy, and I really enjoyed your writing when you were here - if you don't want to write here, that's okay, too, of course - but I, for one, have missed you here and you brought something good while you were here.

As greenie mentioned, some of us tend to hop around and just comment on threads, looking for our chat and we find each other, usually, avoiding the sometimes endless seeming analysis/political posts - which others tend to like and I get that, too, but.......OY. says my brain at the seeming enjoyment of painful headbutting, it seems to me.

I like the 'say your piece and move on' style, more.... but there's room for all (decent human) types here, imho, and that's what we've had here for a long time, really.

Glad to see you here for now anyway  : )

PS - *every* time that neighbor up the way gets his beautiful old cars show on the road and they all drive by, I think of you!

He made a bet with me and lost....

Part of the bet was loser leaves....

I gave him an option re leaving.....

All he had to do was admit that he was wrong and that I was a better poker player than he.

Poker had nothing to do with the argument but I thought it was a nice touch for an amicable settlement of the dispute.

Rather than acquiesce to a black man, he left....

You are the first person to bring his name up since then....

Ron, hahahahahahah!

But I think you might be telling yourself a nice story. Nothing could make Joisey leave unless he wanted to. My sense was that he only visited to hate-read and comment, which gets boring eventually.

Still, maybe we should make you a T shirt :)
