Election day is tomorrow. It will all be over....

Well, not really.

Whoever “wins”, the loser will challenge the “rigged' outcome.

We may or may not have a determination by inauguration day.... Consider if early on in the morning tomorrow, terrorists bomb polling places, say, in Philadelphia........Suppose that , because the vote cannot be determined, the election is, as mandated by the Constitution, thrown to the House of representatives......

I voted for Nixon in 1972. Didn't particularly like him, but McGovern? Come on......

I voted for Watergate.

Now, you have the opportunity to vote for something far more explosive then that.

Hillary Clinton, if she becomes President, will be impeached.

If the Senate remains in the hands of the Republicans, she may very well be removed from office.

at the least, she will find that she cannot nominate cabinet members, much less court justices.

don't expect to change anyone's mind or vote..... just floating a prediction.

Your thoughts?

The comparison to Watergate simply indicates that you, as well as your candidate, have no sense of US History in general, Watergate and the Constitution in particular.  (Need an explanation? Ask someone who might care to improve you.)

Jonathan, that is without a doubt the most idiotic statement I've heard all day,and I've heard a few. Prepare to be mystified and outraged as things unfold beyond your tiny ability to comprehend such outrages.

Not so fast Token. I think your post has much more lacking than did Jon's response. Hillary would not challenge the results and you have zero evidence that she would. They 'may' attempt to impeach her, but doesn't mean they will succeed.

My thoughts? You be better to blog somewhere else - where people might think you make sense.

as for "my candidate"? I'm a registered democrat who voted for bernie this spring, would to god I had him to vote for now. As for my going somewhere else?

Short answer? Fuck off and die.

Who do you suggest for president, then. I would love to be voting for Bernie, too. I will never forget how it felt to vote in the primary for someone that I liked that much. I liked voting for Obama but not as much as I liked voting for Bernie.

And I don't know about anyone else, but the last 8 years have worn me out on the impeachment threat and bluster. It holds the same water as the taking of the guns hyperbole.

The only alternative to letting the clinton corporation (eg Banks, wall street, etc) take over the federal government for the next 30 years is to vote for the condum presidency of donald trump. Is he a clown? yes. Does he have any sort of political organization that will allow him to keepfrom being impeached if he screws up? no

Vote for him if only for the prevention of the spread of the rule by elite that is clinton inc. It will give the congress a chance to erect new firewalls to prevent the emergence of a new imperial presidency, either of the George Buch variety, or the Clinon variety.

As for what happens if Clinton is elected? She will be impeached. Our armed forces and law enforcment personel will dmand it. you  may be able to fool the public by pretending that there was no intent and that she was just a helpless old granny who doesn't know what she's doing around technology, but you can't fool those who have served. You know that. You served. How can we ask people who put their lives on the line daily to swear allegience to such a corrupt organization as Clinton and company?

They won't.

PS   I think Bernie is batshit crazy with most of his policies, but he is an HONORABLE man ... sometimes that is what counts most in a leader, this is one of those times. Would thatwe had someone honorable to vote for tomorrow..... but we don't. best we can do is vote for the one that is easiest to get rid of, and hope we don't need to try.

You might get rid of Trump but you will never get rid of Pence. Cheney is his model for veep. And Congress will use Trump to undo everything they want to undo and remake this country into their twisted version of a Christian nation. I voted for the organization. I like the few liberties that I have.
