Was the bit I posted this morning. A full hour. As happens from time to time a bit fails to publish. An hour. Gone Forever.

The bit was  about choosing less, and burning on fourth of the gas I was before the midterm elections.

I am proud of the new house, those brave kids who stormed it; not more New Democrats, but real  people. And then it was gone...

Back in 2014 on OpenS, I had done abit on 2018 midterms. Fifty years after losing King and Kennedy in ‘68. I argued that this would be the big one, and it was. This was a big one. The Clintons could not control the party after proving they could not out fox Putin. Screwing Sanders, and smugly ignoring the kids who supported him...well that cost them, and all of us. But look where those kids are now...in the house, and making waves. A beginning I hope.

The post was about the micro; the heavy boot of American Fascism has left the world shaken, and us a divided, defeated, deluded mass of MAGA morons, and corporate shills...consumers, not citizens. The little picture continuously reduces itself form first hand observations of every day life, every day. I see policy, and who the winners and losers are. Five decades...direct observations. Living and working within, not above the or beyond the ordinary means of everyday people.

Five decades  of never never having flown in a corporate jet. Five decades of never having been employed by the US government. Five decades of American Fascism, not from the top looking down or the bottom looking up, but from straight across...into the eyes of creatures of all shapes and sizes.

Down here, I see something. I hope something. The little picture looks a little better, or am I just dreaming, again? This was not the post that went into oblivion earlier...except for the title. But it’s something.

Losing a composition to the ether used to be not uncommon for me, though it has now become rare.  I try not to let compositions evolve and live unsaved-under.consruction for very long in these comment windows until they're finished.  To have the efforts of composition disappear unexpectedly for any reason feels like a wasted blood-letting, usually.  There have been times when i ended up more glad than sad but it was usually after it felt like the results of the second effort included and exceeded my expectations of the first attempt.  Sometimes the loss however is so dispiriting as to induce moronic bliss.

Oatmeal down Wint walnuts. Ok..no need to ask, she’s a smooth operator. I went to work for Charlie in 1972, my neighbor, now in aSsisted living, 1948. Thousands of miles from our home town, the first thing she asked me in 2012 was if I knew Charlie. The ting ran on switch boards and Underwood’s. Up top it was codes and keys, but the thousands and thousands of them pecking away in massive rooms...was the Hart of the MIC. Top secret. Charlie hired them by the box car load.

Where did she go from there?
