Not funny this time...

I believe Gen. John Kelly was channeling his own grown deceased son killed serving his country; when he supported Rob Porter & looked the other way from the abuser.

Gen. John Kelly's past pristine achievements before Trump has nothing to do with a blind spot that comes after you have lost a child - no matter how old he or she was.

So, it doesn't matter what Kelly knew & when he knew it; he knew it, but unconsciously blew it off - in this case, the heart knows no time table.

Whether Trump accepts his resignation is not here nor there; considering the source but, in matters of our (homeland) security & propriety under Trump's reign, such as it is - it's time to clean house.

Trump's unconscionable non-action, on the other hand; has already been examined & explained ad nauseum in every legitimate forum.

Kelley's dubious and offensive pronouncement's on a number of matters has reduced him to another victim of this cancerous presidency.

I don't know anything about Kelly's son.

Kelly's loss is tragic, as are the REST of ours who, for the most part, including my son and daughter who lived but will never be the same, were sucked into Shrub the Lessers falsified faked wars. He, if anyone, should have been ready for this. I fault him not as a father, but as a MARINE GENERAL. My dog, if we don't expect to lose Marines at times than the world really is a Trump cartoon.

Kelly is a traitor, a scumbag, a lying piece of shit, is doing nothing about the threat of Russia, who he supposedly spent the better part of his 70 years fighting against. There is simply nothing to say about this racist, sexist, seditious disgrace to the entire USA. His ineptitude actually makes Preibus, the village idiot, look good in comparison. The problem? Good luck finding anyone qualified for the job who could succeed at it, and keep an eye on how these traitors are setting Russia up to keep them in power during the 2018 midterms ... they've done NOTHING to stop it, not even reel in that piece of shit traitor Mark Zuckerberg who is actually in many ways responsible and is a known thief who STOLE Facebook from the now Bitcoin Billionaire Winklevoss Twins. Ah, the second Gilded Age, I really didn't expect to see it, but, as colonialism slowed down, it speeded back up. Bon-fucking-jour ...

Thanks for stopping by Tom!  Just symptomatic of one of many who have lost their soul under the influence of Trump.

Thanks Kosh.  Kelly brought his son up at a News Conference on the subject of "How to give sympathy to a family member whose son or daughter lost their life in the military".  And, of course, there was a big brouha about his response.

Thanks Maui!  There's a whole lot you covered in your comment.  Much has to be done to save what is left of our country after it has been ravaged so by the present wrecking crew.

I’m suffering from some confusion here. Channeling his son while supporting Ron Porter? That sounds backward. If I supported Rob Porter I sure wouldn’t be channeling my son.

I like what Tom said, about this cancerous presidency - everyone in this administration  is finding their lowest low and then taking another leap down. it's like they're determined to make this failing presidency successful at all costs - all while leaking their little hearts out.  pure lunacy.

the book btw, is getting stranger and stranger.  it's not an easy read because he lays it all out - how corrupt, incompetent and floundering this president is, how he undermines his own administration from selfishness, jealousy, hubris, stupidity, indifference to the office itself.  it's a great book, very well written but it's the most depressing book I've read in a long time.

Kosh - thank G-d you aren't Kelly.  When all is said & done - Kelly may not be channeling anyone - just losing his mind day by day working for Trump!
