Not sure how to respond here.  The link just takes you to the jpeg.

Sorry, was binge-watching "Nashville" and didn't realize that I'd linked the pic and not the article.

I've corrected the link in the post.

Thanx Jmac!

I read about this guy, apparently he's just your run of the mill fire bug who for whatever reasons targeted the front doors of churches.  Never with enough accelerant to really burn the place down... burned different churches of different denominations with different ethnic congregations.  R&L

Could that have made him a (gasp) God hater?

Terry McKenna...I don't care if you're unconvinced, I'm not seeking anything from anyone.

Like Jeremiah's voice crying in the wilderness my "mission" is to tell the truth, not force anyone to believe it.

But 7 churches burning tells me he is an atheist a few steps further down the road than most.

Did you notice the flames tattooed on his throat and he imagines himself a king?

Believe what you will but this Word of God comes to mind...

"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of the wicked, nor sits in the seat of the scornful but his delight is in the Law of the Lord and in His law he meditates both day and night, and he shall be as a tree planted by rivers of water, whose leaf does not wither and wherever he turns his hand he shall prosper."

"Come drink life's water freely!"

Terry, believe it or not I hear God speaking often (wish it were more often) and His Spirit is always with me.

This is not hyperbole or my admittedly fertile imagination.  He is audible and palpable.  And there is no "we" here as you have written, just me and you.  And I'm by no means given to exaggeration.  So speak for yourself if you like but please don't imagine that you speak for me.

Thanks for commenting though.  But please refrain from obscenity on my post's commentary, my church friends sometimes read me and they might be more offended than I by guttural English.

P.S.  I've already had to delete one hate-filled atheist's obscenity filled scatological rant here this afternoon and will not hesitate to do so again.

I'm not posting here merely for the entertainment of the denizens of OS.  I'm trying to post for civil discourse in the media generally.  So keep it clean folks.  I do!

The point here dear readers is that as voiced by Angela Merkel recently Christianity is indeed by far the world's most persecuted religion.

Now usually the American discrimination model looks more like "Safe Bet Amy's" two year long hate-filled stalking of me and my posts choosing to spew the foulness in her heart onto my comment stream. I can just consider the source and delete her.

But as time goes on we see more and more overt and even violent attacks on people who just want to practice their religion in peace. This guy who likes to burn churches exemplifies the direction this is heading even here in the supposed land of the free.

I just had to delete 3 more hateful and mocking comments.
