The Age Of

This is the age of the drama queen
It's not about reality only feelings
It's your very brain that's peeling
Under  influence of drugs you're dealing,

Hiding in your safe place
The glazed look on your face
It's not the truth you embrace
You dropped out of the human race,

Oh but then you need your space
You specialize in falling from grace
The contrast of leather and lace
Like your entitlement voter base,

Like a brown shirted book burner
You were always a slow learner
Dumbed down in your local school
Don't you know you were molded into a fool?

But it's always about you
You missed it all right on cue
"Me!" You cry out of the blue
Your fragile emotions might break in two,

Shutting down others is not beneath you
In your own way you destroy what's true
You're incapable of thinking it all through
To your cluelessness I bid a due,

This is the age of the drama queen
Like a self-centered cat you preen
Toward thoughtlessness you constantly lean
A world you've never opened your eyes to and seen.
