In last night's Alabama election a few things were made crystal clear:

  • 74% of Alabama white men support pedophilia and should feel ashamed of that!  Voting for Moore WAS a vote for pedophilia and if they supported him they need to own that.

  • 65% of Alabama white women voted in support of child molesters.  Voting for Moore WAS a vote for child molestation and if they supported him they need to own that.

  • 92% of Black men voted against bigotry, hate and racism.  They should feel sort of proud today.  The only reason they shouldn't feel proud is that freaking 7% of them voted in support of pedophilia and child molestation.  The 92% need to go kick some serious "7%-er" ass.

  • A whopping 97% of women of color voted for Jones.  This was a united vote against racism, sexism and pedophilia, IMO.  they have every right to feel very proud today.

So lets hear it for Women of Color!!!!

They saved ALL OF US (again!)!

(They still need to go kick the asses of the freaking 3% that voted for Moore, but that won't take long.)

It has been said that Harriet Tubman freed 100 slaves. She is reported to have said that she could have freed 100 more If they knew they were slaves....

what i"m most excited about is the turnout.

I think the last election taught everyone a BIG lesson: - no democrat - not even a clinton can win without the african american vote.   and democrats are slooooooowly learning it's going to cost more than lipservice to BLM.  they've got to put up candidates that relate, candidates that are proven and can be counted on to follow through with promises to their consitutency.  they need to talk the talk and walk it too.  too many elections, too many promises, too little results.  after election day, nothing changes.

someone on one of the news talk shows over the weekend, likened the african american vote to one of those glass boxes you break during an emergency, that every important election the dems come around and break the glass and make a lot of noise and get out the aa vote.  but the last election, it didn't happen.  they stayed home.

this election may be an indication of real change.   the one power every american still has to make meaningful change is our vote - our one pathetic vote.  we HAVE to use it.   and we have to be shrewd in using it.  I think this is starting to happen.

vote or die!  goddamned right!

Still shuddering it was as close as it was.

What is *wrong* with people??  (no need to answer... I know.)

Personally, Roy Moore's frightening wife maybe won Doug Jones a few more last minute votes with her so clueless moment at the podium.... stunning.

TRUTH!  The democratic party gets damn little credit for defeating Moore and should reap damn few of the benefits.

Damn straight Black Lives Matter -- just look what they did in Alabama. Keep it up, folks ... please, for all our sakes on whatever side of whatever border.

As for the asshat white voters ... fuck you all sideways with a polished alloy conrod.

(No apology for the vulgarity. Feel free to delete, Amy.)
