The front cover has changed to organize posts in such a way as to make it easier for readers to locate and follow blogs that match their interests.
The way this will work requires some effort on your part. If you want your blogs to be easily found, you must use the drop down list of tags.
This list can be found at the bottom of each new blog, beneath the "entry" box where you add your blog text and above the date & privacy settings. I have even placed a red arrow to help call your attention to it. You can use more than one tag, but please use only the tags that apply to the content of your blog post.
In the past, some members have selected all of the tags in an effort to have their post listed under multiple topics and to get noticed. Moving forward, doing this will get you noticed in a negative way, as I will remove any tags not appropriate to the post.
The left & right columns for new posts & new comments will remain unchanged.
Lets give this new method a try and see how it goes. If you are so inclined, you can still go back to earlier posts & add tags in order to have it properly categorized.
Have fun & keep me posted what you like/dislike about it.
******UPDATE****** I have added the condition that you must select at least one tag in order to post. The "publish" button will not be available until you select a tag from the drop down menu. I am also going back through the most recent posts & tagging them appropriately as best I can based on content. While some people have used tags they wrote in on their own (which is fine) those tags do not sort properly on the site as far as they will not feed to the cover (but are still useful in a google search for a topic).
Also, if there are topics you would like added please let me know and we can look at that.
