Rust hovers in the past adding flavor to the present. Old tractors, trailers and factories dusted with rust are bookmarks from history, to be looked at again and again. I often say photographs of old architecture bring to life ghosts of the past: workers, farmers, designers and owners…; there’s a peace to it all… a rust in peace.

I call You`

Old Rusty.

You got a good singing voice.

You no need to make things.

As in make stories up. huh?

You help Readers to Thinks.

As You convey . . . We here.

We've stories to convey . . .

We share a same predicament.

But, it's as Life always has been.

heya mr. Sweet Fermented Green Brew,

SWEPT UP in the rust mania that is currently

sweeping over OS for some uncanny reason…I like your playful wise take  on this subject that obviously dominates our days and nights..”rust in peace” should be written somewhere for everyone to see, if they happen to come by the place it is written. Maybe MMH? That goddamn place that draws me back again and again? Haynes St, that place. It has metastasized into a new Cancer Center, I am happy to see.

Still, it’s depressing cuz of all the sick people rusting away….

bookmarks from history, to be looked at again and again.

The REAL rust has only lately become an obsession of mine, thanks to u and alsoknownas. The metaphorical rust comes along with it too. I saw that today. You say, there’ s peace in it. Brings a flavor to the past.

I really shall never look at rust the same way again without my brain making connections with many many things. Rust in peace is a fine way to sum it all up. The rust thing.

I guess we may hear more of this rust, if the zeitgeist is truly gonna pick it up. I may write my own post about rust, I dunno, though I doubt it, but then again I could get in a mood.

Art could send me there. so could u and AKA..."

You help Readers to Thinks.

As You convey . . . We here."

Keep up your bright swords, for the dew will rust them.
Good signior, you shall more command with years

Than with your weapons

What you ‘heard’ is true. Some of it really, some metaphorically. Sublimation!

Sublimation is our friend.

Seems you as I have gone over to the rusting dudes, the uncanny three headed monster of AKA, AJ, and JMAC. Beware. You could find too much fun there in these old geezers who live to spill it all that you are then just friends with old men, like me.

These dudes taking that Dylan (Thomas!) injunction to heart re. don’t go gently.

Also that other Dylan’s…

  • Leave your stepping stones behind, something calls for you.
Forget the dead you've left, they will not follow you.
  • The vagabond who's rapping at your door,
Is standing in the clothes that you once wore.
