Racism and The Concept of Western Civilization

There isn't an element, aspect, or component of the concept of Western Civilization that isn't borrowed or stolen from somewhere and/or someone else.

The essential flaw in the concept of Western Civilization is denial of this salient fact.

Racism is a form and manifestation of the denial upon which the concept of Western Civilization rests...

FOR EXAMPLE!...  I just started reading a book titled, "Black Slaves, Indian Masters", by Dr. Barbara Krauthamer.

I had no idea of the extent that several of the "well to do" Native American "Five Tribes" that originated in the south eastern part of the US readily accepted the idea of maintaining Black slaves in an effort to show that they were "civilized".

Why have I never heard of this before?  (...and I think we both know the answer to that question).

That is fairly well known, but only among those who actually care enough to give a flying fuck what the First Nation peoples, including Hawaiians, (I was thrilled to hear a Hawaiian song in New Mexico recently on an indigenous music radio station in the car) but the FACT THAT STARES EVERYONE IN THE FACE AND IS NEVER CONFRONTED is that there is NO SUCH THING as Southern Hospitality (The Cavaliers were total assholes to everyone, though they did enjoy showing off their slaves to each other) when in fact such so called hospitality is merely the facts and appropriation of West African Culture. Because Whites were too effete and lazy to raise their own offspring, Mamie's did, and child psychology proves the various stages of children's development and who and what they emulate --- Mamie's beautiful disposition and deep love to innocent children for undeserving parents. Many from the North were SHOCKED at the "Black Slave" accents these children developed as of course learning to speak is one of several of the most key development stages for kids.

On top of that, SBA and I now agree for perhaps the 5-6th time in herstory, THERE WAS A HUGE CIVILIZATION IN NORTH AMERICA, the top remnants of which were intentionally destroyed in order to hide them. Digging down, we find the truth.

A case on point:

Animated, colour-coded map showing the various continents and regions.
Depending on the convention and model, some continents may be consolidated or subdivided: for example, Eurasia is most often subdivided into Asia and Europe (red shades), while North and South America are sometimes recognised as one American continent (green shades).

A continent is one of several very large landmasses of the world. Generally identified by convention rather than any strict criteria, up to seven regions are commonly regarded as continents. Ordered from largest in area to smallest, they are: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia.[1]

If strict geological or geographical criteria is applied, Europe is NOT a continent but an isthmus on the western end of Asia...

That would leave European white people without a continent of their own...

An outcome the chroniclers of the concept of Western Civilization wouldn't have, even if it meant redefining the term so as to meet the rationale of 'convention'  and not strict adherence to geological or geographical fact.....

I'm going to look for the book Amy has recommended. I'm aware of the phenomena, but certainly not to the extent that is being referenced.

Go way deeper than that, go into the research into the vast underground world of the early North Americans conveniently, and in fairness very difficult to access, and begin to see the size of the empires, the sophistication of the technology and religions, etc. They lacked horses, which, as Earth often confounds us, once roamed freely there, or (here) for many of you.

To build on Ron's valid point, ALL Europe is is an Isthmus, no different than Maui's by technical definition, and in fact it was much more prominent both culturally and geographically before the UK Islands lowlands flooded away from a simple stroll over from France.
