Progressive means Reversing capitalUSt$' Privatizing Gains while Socializing Costs
There’s more than one thing I would like to know from all candidates in contention for further nurturing progressive human capacities for love for our own species and others, for empathy, for truth, work and love for self-worth derived from contributing to the common good at home and globally.
Reversing capitalUSt$ gains is a Republican no-no never to be seriously thought about. It’s akin to one thinking about resuscitating Eisenhower-era progressive taxation of income, muchless think about ever paying down the debt. It’s like thinking about death being one's returning to the eternal, infinite voidness that death is rather than death being the sentient, loving paradise we wish it were.
One hypothetical that I’d like to address to a candidate supportive of progressive ideals that is really not a hypothetical at all, but rather, it’s an absolute certainty: this military-industrial economy nose-diving into abysmal darkness on never-ending lies, myths and delusions. When next the financial self-serving ‘services’ strike the reality-wall in the course of their plunge to fiscal hell, shouldn’t the government this next time not save them from their inevitable fate, which fate will necessarily include us all if we again let them use the very same government they invariably disparage and cheat with impunity?
