Caution: Writers at play

I

suppose that

I

could attempt

to

write poetry

but

the fact remains

that

I don't have the beginnings

of

a clue as to

what

I'm doing.

In 100 years, someone will look at this and try to interpret your entire life based on ants on wax paper.

Nice shot of the ants! Apparently, 'someone' ate whatever sweet goodie was on the wax paper before they could.

Here's one of my favorite bug poems, written by someone who can write really good poems, David Budbill:

            Bugs in a Bowl

Han Shan, that great and crazy, wonder-filled Chinese poet of a thousand years ago, said:

We're just like bugs in a bowl. All day going around never leaving their bowl.

I say, That's right! Every day climbing up
the steep sides, sliding back.

Over and over again. Around and around.
Up and back down.

Sit in the bottom of the bowl, head in your hands,
cry, moan, feel sorry for yourself.

Or. Look around. See your fellow bugs.
Walk around.

Say, Hey, how you doin'?
Say, Nice Bowl!

poetry is? you have to actually know what you are doing?

here I thought it was only speaking from the heart in as simple of terms as possible. Just speak Kosh, we'll listen. Especially if it's only a few lines ;)

That ceiling shot will be hanging in the Museum of Modern Art in NYC before you know it.  Prepare for fame!

I can help fix that ceiling, but the poetry-- my god man!
