Hey, there's a pretty good free online image editor that I use all the time: Photo Editor Online @ Pixlr.com.  Much easier than Photoshop and free.  R&L ;-)

I have always loved B & W images.  So much so that I stopped using color in my drawing and painting several years ago, use only sepia ink and pencils. Color can feel like a gigantic distraction from composition, surface, and form. Plus, I've discovered that pictures of me in B & W look MUCH better than those in color. Check it out :-)
