I've always admired Kosh and after reading his post Tales of J, we exchanged a few PM's and he directed me to this You Tube video where we can see Kosh and Jonah in a perfect slice of life that seems to exemplify the beauty and joy of American culture. Where else in the world can you hear a Bluegrass Klezmer Band improvise a New Orleans jazz rendition of a Scots folk tune immortalized with the lyrics of poet Bobbie Burns in 1788? What a great memory of the first anniversary of Jonah's passing: "May the Master of Mercy protect him forever, from behind the hiding of his wings, and tie his soul with the rope of life. The Everlasting is his heritage, and he shall rest peacefully upon his lying place, and let us say: Amen. "

Comment by Kenneth Sibbett on January 13, 2013 at 11:14am Kosh showed me this also and it is awesome. If most disabled kids had parents tell them that there ain't, no can't, I believe they could be like his son. I love the Special Olympics. Kids doing the best they can, regardless of their disability. Beautiful post mac~
