One Sentence on a Tuesday: How to tell the difference between Republicans who are flawed human beings and those who are absolute monsters

The way to tell the difference between Republicans who are flawed human beings and those who are absolute monsters is that the flawed human beings have limits.

Um, which one are you referring to at this point? ... Mick Mulvaney? My Dog I'd like to get that little motherfucker in a boxing ring, and yes, I've been feeling violent lately. I'd gladly do the time for rearranging his mutt-face. The fact that they are begging in Tennessee for the current Senator not to leave tells it all ... it is because even those scumbag pieces of dung now Blackburn is some sort of Salem Witch evil incarnate antebellum whip whirling walking skeletor.

I wasn’t referring to him in particular. I had more well known figures in mind. George F. Will. Senator Flake with his speech about that treason for not clapping bullshit. Nikki Haley for the Confederate flag/statue thing. John McCain for sometimes refusing to go along.

As opposed to Mitch McConnell, who is an absolute monster. Obviously the President and most of the people who have worked for him. Paul Ryan likes to pretend he has limits but when push comes to shove and vote comes to vote, he ditches his limits. He aspires to look like a flawed human being but until he commits he’s just another monster.

The monsters are pushing those who have limits to test and exceed their limits...

Someone once said by their fruits ye shall know them. That's what I always go by.

Kosh, Mulvaney said today he wants to replace the food stamp program with a box of peanut butter, government cheese and canned cream corn ... and which one is the absolute monster?

I don’t know enough about Mulvaney to have had him in mind. I’m certainly not claiming the guy isn’t one.

By your fruits ye shall know them  is how I judge Paul Ryan, whose rhetoric is more reasonable than his votes are.

That's certainly true of all people...those w no boundaries, no internal reins, few ethical lines of sight, are always prone to act monstrously.

"The fact that they are begging in Tennessee for the current Senator not to leave tells it all"

As a resident of that "grate" state, I am compelled to address your disparagement of Marsha Blackburn. On second thought, Momma used to say, if you can't say anything nice – well, you know the rest. I will give a nod to her husband, who's founder of the International Bowtie Society.

As for the proposed govt program to provide box lunches, this strikes me as another throwback to those halcyon days of yesteryear when Americas Was Great. I remember all too well growing up with bags of yellow corn meal and canned spam, and govt cheese that got us through hard times that always seem to come when Republicans were in power. Hell, times were so wonderful back when America Was Great, I set those memories to music:

Guvermint Cheese

Guvermint cheese, oh, guvermint cheese

Gimme another package, mister, if you please

Rich man keep the poor man down on his knees

Beggin’ for some guvermint cheese

Daddy was a trucker, done the best he could

Bringin’ home the bacon like a good man should

But ev’ry now and then he had to knock on wood

And bring home some guvermint cheese

Guvermint cheese, oh, guvermint cheese

Gimme another package, mister, if you please

Rich man keep the poor man down on his knees

Beggin’ for some guvermint cheese

Momma's in the kitchen with the fryin' pan

Cookin' up some supper with what she had on hand

Powdered milk and butter and some nasty Spam

And a little bit a guvermint cheese

Guvermint cheese, oh, guvermint cheese

Gimme another package, mister, if you please

Rich man keep the poor man down on his knees

Beggin’ for some guvermint cheese

So poor we didn’t know it, but a-lookin’ back

We had it pretty good despite the things we lacked

Turnin’ nickels into quarters was a mighty tight squeeze

So we lived on guvermint cheese

Guvermint cheese, oh, guvermint cheese

Gimme another package, mister, if you please

Rich man keep the poor man down on his knees

Beggin’ for some guvermint cheese

Tom- you channeling Woody today ... hit the nail.

Kosh- Lyin' Ryan's rhetoric makes sense? This clown is the WORST Speaker and most under-qualified in herstory, a disgrace to the congress. This BS "Golden Child" reputation the Rethugs have drafted for him is a hilarious joke, he simply spits out spreadsheets that an 8th grader in Silicon Valley could tear to shreds as they don't reconcile in anyway, and he is an actual follower of Ayn Rand, the PTSD addled, chain smoking phony who faked out the imbeciles at publishing companies for years with her pure garbage, the closest thing to her is L. Ron Hubbard, and hopefully Lyin' Ryan and her namesake Rand Paul will be exposed as the Scientologists have been. THIS IS NOT A SERIOUS MAN, unless you think starving the poor while pretending to be a nice white boy from Janesville after marrying money is a serious business. Tip O'Neill v. Lyin' Ryan? You've got to be kidding me. Even Devil man Gingrich had more talent, though he chose to use it to enrich himself, then buy wives, rather than use his semi good looks to find a rich one all his own. These guys will go DOWN in herstory as absolute clowns except the damage they do may be deeper than we think, hopefully November gets him out for good and he goes home to count stocks.

Ryan rejected a lot of Trump’s ideas during the campaign but at this point he’s a rubber stamp. I didn’t say he made sense, I said he aspired to being a flawed human being but is instead a monster.
