Once Could be a Dumbass Mistake, but Twice in Five Weeks is Blatant Harassment

Muhammad Ali's son says he was detained again.   Muhammad Ali Jr. was detained and questioned at a Washington airport before being allowed to board a flight to Fort Lauderdale after meeting with lawmakers to discuss a separate airport detention incident last month.

This is going to become far, far worse before these bastards are forcibly removed from office.

Jon, Customs and TSA has been profiling from Day One and long before the Post 9-11 watch lists.  Ted Kennedy, after all, was mistakenly placed on the government’s no-fly list. But the Transportation Security Administration calls that a “myth.”

It has been reported many times that Kennedy had trouble boarding planes several times in 2004 allegedly because he was on a no-fly list. But the TSA in 2008 said the former Democratic senator from Massachusetts was “NOT on the no-fly or selectee lists.” Kennedy was “misidentified” as someone on the “selectee list.” Those on the selectee list “must undergo additional security screening before being permitted to board.” Kennedy ultimately boarded his flights and didn’t miss any flights...

Please note that TSA did not deny that the Senator from Massachusetts was not flagged by TSA agents, but that he "...didn't miss any flights."

Here's to the Mall Cops of Amerika's airports.

You  believe this was intentional.  So do I.  But you do not believe me that TSA agents grope passengers?

I get pulled out for "random selection" about every 3rd flight. I have two redress numbers. TSA insists that I am not on any lists.  This is NOT random.

Lois, I'm sure that there are all kinds of TSA agents just as there are all kinds of degrees of passenger sensibilities.  All of that provides a broad spectrum for abuse and perceptions of abuse.  I quit flying over ten years ago because I lost patience with the infernal delays and expense of air travel.  Thanks for reading and commenting.

JMac, train and bus combos cost more than flying and take far more time. I should not have to be sexually molested in order to fly.

I just drive and take my time to stop and smell the roses.  The monetary expense is often less than flying and I don't have to put up with the nonsense at airports, so travel takes much less a toll on my mind and soul.  I hate standing in lines for anything.
