Good Grief?

Happy Thanksgiving to you Ron.

Memories being what they and nostalgia are, the turkey today will be cooked in the same roaster my grandma used. I've only had turkey a few times that wasn't cooked in that pan. It never tastes as good.

Have as good a Thanksgiving as you can, given your associations.

Happy Thanks giving to you and yours Ron, and to you all, out there in the world ~

It becomes part of the holiday, doesn't it, when a loved one died on or by the day..... my mom died on November 26th, the day before Thanksgiving that year. Today and every year her Thanksgiving salt and pepper shakers sit center table, a just picked-rose blossom for each person who has died scattered across granddaughters' funky centerpiece (roses still blooming here!) - and a toast - will honor her and other family.

Cheers! Hope your day is a good one ~

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Wish your mom could be there to enjoy it with you, just as I wish I could be with my 92 year-old mother today.
