Let the games begin I'll start.

Okay, my take on the Democratic debate sans Uncle Joe Biden, left to right (and to be to the left of Bernie Sanders is quite a feat) beginning with Jim Webb, my takeaway...

Mr. Webb is a very intensely confused man.  He was like a deer who actively seeks out some headlights to get that look on.

My other uncle, Bernie...Sanders that is...appeared to have left Woodstock supercharged and headed straight forward till midnight, exceeded the speed of light, ran around the  world until tonight rolled around and sprang onto the stage like some gnarly oaken version of Venus on her half-shell.  But he made a lot of sense and he ended up maybe a tad better off in ratings than he started.

Aunt Hillary did well, stayed where she was.

Some guy named O'Malley did well considering that before the debate I didn't know his name and now I do.

And some guy named Chafee who raised two questions.  Who was he and why was he there?

But like the Scaramouche complained, it doesn't really matter at all since the aforementioned Uncle Joe wasn't

I was hoping someone would start a post about the debates here.  I have no tv and tried streaming the thing from CNN but it was start and stop and too many ads and confusion.  Seems they could broadcast a simple debate nowdays over the internet.  I only heard Bernie and Hilary going at it and they seemed so adult and smart it was a pleasure to try to listen.  Grown up debate is what everyone on FB is saying.  This is how adults talk not like the GOP debate.

Yup. You started. I finished my post about an hour after yours I guess. Bernie did OK. Hillary surprised me with just how well she did. The other three have no shot in Hell.

Hillary's vice presidential pick will be crucial ...... I give her a year in office before she is impeached for her emails ( ala tricky dick.....)

By the way, I'll vote for Sanders if you'll vote for Carson, Deal?

Thanks for weighing in folks but like I said, it ain't started till Uncle Joe B. jumps in or out.  He's not going to settle for VP again, and I see him running as (as far as he's concerned anyway) the heir apparent.

Don't get me wrong, if the Dems run somebody I'll vote for them.  But here is my order of preference today.

1.  Biden and/or Warren.  (Warren needs a bit more seasoning in politics in my opinion VP'd give it+16 years.

2.  Bernie the only honest broker in American Politics, but can he be elected with an automatic 33% stone wall opposition plus all of the not so understanding middle Americans who are still afraid of the word "socialist".

3.  Hillary.  Extremely competent political manager.  But, I find her brittle and given to (admittedly controlled) a nasty temper.  I don't see that at all in Elizabeth Warren so forget attacking me as a chauvinist.  I'm a forward thinker, chauvinists are wistful about former times.

4.  CNN or some it's creative staff anyway are apparently pulling a Faux news style link-up with the Dems because the staging and flow of the debate was over the top slanted toward Hillary and the tenor of her responses I saw as way too polished and rehearsed to have not seen those questions before-hand, and O'Malley is being put forward as a tame male Bill Clintonesque V.P.  and got softball questions thrown at him. At least that's what I noticed.

Oh well, like I wrote earlier...Uncle Joe hasn't even made up his mind yet so it's still a bit early.
