Obama in the Mirror
The Obamas must surely be forgiven their emotions as they pack up to leave the White House after eight years of living there.
But Barack Obama is not prepared to go quietly into that sweet night.
Aware that his legacy is in the toilet, as confirmed by the results of the 2016 election not to mention the facts, BO has engaged in some truly remarkable last-gasp moves. Most remarkable is his commutation of the sentence of admitted traitor Chelsea Manning, about which I have blogged elsewhere.
When I think of Obama it brings to mind a homely woman who carries around her photophone as a growth, clicking away more or less continually in the hope that, if only because of the law of averages, a flattering picture will emerge. It’s really quite sad, but thankfully, as of Friday of no consequence.
