Noticias y 'olas

pues, bailamos, bailanos, compadre marinero

hazme girar, a brillar, a lucirme, lucero

siento a tu dedos dibujando Eros y erótica

News and Waves

there goes the cowboy sailor on his mare de mar
as fast as the wind and the truth will take them
faces faithful and salty
hands and the reins woven of sea silk
deck strong legs turned into marbled rock
dry and dancing in aquatic botany boots
fingers printing Eros and erotica, left and right
feet turning toward the wind and water and the light
of any morning star in any sky

after all, stars are for wishing, mouths are for kissing

" . . . la estrella de su corazon" is not bad either.

Cowboy sailors have suffered some neglect in literature until now. This poem does them some justice finally.

yes, the cowboy sailor is hard to come by in modern lit. The carpenter musician continues to dominate the paradigm...about which one can-should do very little.

la estrella de su corazon = Selena
not bad at all ~

...cada vez
cada vez que te veo pasar...

¡saludos, capi!

across copas, golosas, over and beneath ropa

you´re a breath of fresh air, you´re a drink of clear water
