No words can convey the pain I feel now upon learning of the death of the irreplaceable and brilliant Gordon Osmond. Be at peace my friend.

"He is survived by his beloved husband, Luiz Russo..."

You could knock me over with a feather right now.

He was a deeply inspirational man for me.  And, to those of us who got to know him just a tad, albeit very long distance, he was, indeed, decent.  Pure class.

Amy, when I read the obituary I had exactly the same reaction.

I got along with him on many occasions. He offered to send me a copy of his latest book but I never got around to accepting it.

RIP.

AKA, I got it from him.  It was such fun.  He was a very talented writer.

gordon was an elegant writer and I enjoyed reading his blogs. sometimes he aggravated me but he was always worth reading.  rest in peace gordon.
