Because in 2020 he loses to Elizabeth Warren

Thanks, Kosh.

I think he'll go before that.

Kosher has already provided the correct date, though I'm sorry to say he is wrong about Elizabeth Warren. At this point, there is no way of knowing which of several dozen suspects will win the Democratic nomination. That aside, President Hairball will not be removed from office in 2019, and most likely won't be removed in 2020, for a variety of reasons.

(1) The Mueller investigation still has a considerable way to go, given the labyrinthine machinations and violations of Hairball regarding campaign violations, emoluments/self-dealing, income tax evasion, bribery, collusion/conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and likely dozens of other crimes yet to be fully investigated.

(2) At some point the Supreme Court is going to get involved, possibly regarding a subpoena of Hairball by Mueller or any number of state A-G's. Since a ruling in that case will likely set a precedent or two that will have monumental impact on the future of the presidency, the decision will come only after much deliberation.

(3) The Democrats have little interest in impeaching Hairball, since he is so imminently beatable in 2020. They'll want to keep him around as an inflatable punching bag, similar to the Baby Trump blimp.

(4) The Democrats also have no interest in elevating Pence to the presidency, since he would likely be a more formidable foe in 2020, in part because he is all but guaranteed to get 100% of the Evangelical vote.

(5) If Hairball runs again, and he very likely will if only to preserve his presidential pardon power, he will not run unopposed. And if you think the 2016 Republican campaign was a travesty, the 2020 campaign will be an absolute shitstorm, which will leave the eventual Republican "winner" so covered in feces, as to not be electable as a local mayor.

There are, of course, more than a few qualifiers that could negate my prediction. The first is that Mueller has an actual smoking gun - say a recording of Hairball ordering Cohen to pay off Russian hackers in Prague. The second is that Putin finally figures out his gambit is a loser and Hairball becomes a liability. If so, Putin could surreptitiously release some of the kompromat he surely has on Hairball.

On June the first a group of reluctant Republicans and eager Democrats will meet Trump with an ultimatum. Resign now and the Justice Department will not charge you, your children or your associates with multiple offenses ranging from obstruction, bribe taking, working for hostile foreign powers, lying to the FBI, the American People and Congress, misuse of campaign funds, misuse of governmental funds and many other high crimes and misdemeanors.

"Because in 2020 he loses to Elizabeth Warren."

As much as I like Elizabeth Warren, I don't believe she'll get the nomination....

Clinton would have beaten Trump decisively had she made Warren her running mate.... However, that's another discussion about a moot point...

At this moment Michelle Obama has a better chance to win the Presidency than Warren does...and Michelle Obama won't get involved....

The Dems would do well to keep Trump on the hook and box him in and bottle him up until his term is up and come down on him like a ton of bricks after he leaves office...
