I remember when we first moved to Hawaii a coconut fell and narrowly missed my brother. They are very beautiful.
Wonderful pictures. Palms are so different from our northern deciduous and evergreen. And you have the artist's eye for them.
Ive gotten to know all of them pretty well as I live up on the second story. Ive seen the new fronds born and die many times in this past year. That big orange one in the picture above just fell this morning. Another palm frond funeral soon. Life and death all around.
