We went to the beach today and watched the parade of people.  Ocean Beach is noted for its bums and characters.  I fit right in.  No, that isn't me or my daughter having a massage but we enjoyed watching.

After lunch we laid in the sand and I fell asleep to the sound of the waves.  I dreamed of mother nature...earth mother....embracing me and letting me relax.  A universal mother.

We watched a game of peek a boo under two palm trees between a cute little boy and his dad.  What a bond parenthood is!   Why is it so warped sometimes?   Why is it so difficult and at the same time as easy as a hug?

Looking for peace and a big project to throw myself into.  Hot to move and things are falling into place.  Ocean Beach is a great beach but it isn't Hawaii.   I'm ready.

I always enjoy reading your thoughts about parenting, Zanelle.

So glad you keep posting even while you are bravely preparing to up stakes and head west across the water for the islands.

What's waiting for you in Hawaii?

A big project to throw yourself into? That seems like what your life is lately!

Lots of options.  Being close to my two daughters and granddaughter is priority.  So much to explore there.

Zanelle, it sounds like you've made a peace with this book that's just ended. That's good. Next book you can write yourself a new story.

There is nothing like being near the water. For me it is essential. Hawaii! I am looking forward to hearing all about it!

The ocean is just so delicious - the air, the sounds of waves restore... love lying on a beach, almost never do so.

Enjoyed the vicarious visit  : )

Been thinking of you - look forward to what's next.
