Michele Bachmann Says We’ll Never See a More Godly Biblical President

Michele Bachmann Says We’ll Never See a More Godly Biblical President:  Former Rep. Michelle Bachmann (R-Minn.) said in a recent interview with a conservative Christian radio program that she has “never seen a more Godly, biblical president” than Donald Trump.

But gee, I wonder exactly what it could be that makes President Trump so “Godly?”  Could it be his cheating on three wives, paying off porn stars, bragging about grabbing women by the vagina, promoting completely baseless conspiracy theories about rivals, not paying his vendors, telling well over 5500 verified lies since taking office two years ago, his admiration for ruthless dictators, his attempts at to destabilizing NATO, holding immigrant children in cages, defrauding students at his bogus university, being accused by 23 women of sexual assault, or, how about running a charitable foundation that he used as his personal piggy bank?

My word, that’s one hell of a lot of “godly things” President Trump has been doing there.  Who knew?  And while Ms. Bachmann and her ultra-conservative, Christian fundamentalist pals are busy admiring Mr. Trump’s “godliness,” I suspect there are others of us who may be thinking - if that’s what it means to be “Godly,” mark me down as a proud member of the “ungodly.”

There is good company among these 'devoted' con artists...

I wish people like her understood what Godly meant. I have no clue how they could be such devoted Christians while so thoroughly ignoring Christ.

kosh: they aren't (as you know).

They are devoted to an agenda of control and power among their own - they've turned their temple into a den of thieves.... so to speak.  ; )

Since "Christianity" nearly obliterated Hawaiian culture I've never been enamored by it; there is plenty resentment here towards anything resembling a Missionary." (I know you saw this on Kauai, though I don't recall you ever commenting on it)

That said, if you follow the good deeds of the Roman Propaganda that passes itself off, even today, as the Christ Child, then I will salute, and even help, you. However, should you stray into the witch burning world of Bachman, her closeted manboy, and the utter hypocrisy that American so called Christianity represents then you deserve Trump.

Anna, they've turned their den of thieves into an idolaters' temple to a false god...

Kosh, I believe that I stated in a comment on JW's post that some of his followers believe that he is the Second Coming...

Bunch of crack pot idiots...

Bachman is a the head of the pack...

Much more likely the actual Antichrist should you believe in Fairy Tales.

JR, Trump is not a politician, so he's not a political leader.

He is a kool aid cult leader, con artist, and carnival barker in the manner of Jim Jones and David Koresh....

His followers will believe anything he says and do anything he tells them to do...

Therein lies the danger...

He is their pied piper who will lead them to their ultimate demise and destruction...

We must work to ensure that he doesn't take the rest of the country with him...

Second Coming of whom?

Let me get this straight. They think the following actions are the actions of the Second Coming of the Messiah:

  • characterized Mexicans (most of whom are Christians) as criminals
  • said he’d stand behind supporters who beat up political opponents
  • referred to American combat veterans who were POW's as "losers”
  • made up stories about Muslims in New Jersey celebrating after 9/11
  • did nothing to distance himself from endorsements by the KKK and similar groups
  • insulted multiple ethnic and religious groups
  • cheated small businessmen by failing to pay them after they completed work, then paying them far less than they were contracted for
  • suggested that someone assassinate his political opponen
  • used provocative images produced by neo-Nazi groups in Tweets
  • suggested that our main military rival hack US Government records for his own benefit
  • talked about a major vote in an important allied country strictly in terms of how that vote helped his personal business
  • slandered his opponents so outrageously that the media actually called him on it
  • suggested that we ought to look at actually using nuclear weapons because we have them

I’m sure that for Bachman and her ilk this list answers the WWJD question perfectly.

By the way, the above list is strictly from before Trump was elected President.  The list since adds a few things, like

  • Separating little children from their parents by force
  • Defending American Nazis as “good people”
  • Putting in regulations to make the rich richer
  • Pulling America out of the Stewardship agreement called the Paris Accords
  • Backing policy after policy removing protections from the general public
  • Blatantly using the White House to support his family’s businesses and letting his daughter do the same

Again, this is an off-the-cuff, abbreviated list
