Yesterday was my husbands 68th, a reminder to me mine is next month. For the next month I will get to be his "younger woman". He will be my "older man".
at 65 and wife 67, the age differences don't seem of use to either of us. I have neither the vigor of the younger man, and she lacks the mystery of the "older woman."
Sounds like you know how to keep it spicey. Happy Birthday.
Ach, well -- you young'uns already know what I think. Anyway, congrats to you both (in advance, in your case).
Me? I robbed the cradle. She was 20 and I was 23 when we married. In October we will have made it work for 50 years. Somehow, we always seemed the same age.
...and, sometimes, she still seems to be the 20 year old I married.
Yes happy birthdays to you and hubby, Sheila! Fun reading the comments!
