This is an old, old, old photo shopped picture. But, I like it and I don't think I've posted it for awhile.
Makes me think of you all, out there.
Here's what it looked like, from the other side
...I apologize for the cussing, above. I should delete? It just doesn't 'sound' like me. It's obvious my words have still not come back yet. I'm hoping in the next few weeks? Anyway, it's not you. It's me. I really did think I lost this one and I hadn't copied off the story yet. Glory Days...
Exactly one year ago was the last post on that thread. I remember that day, and it was nothing, nothing like I thought it was going to be, today. What's that old saying about making God laugh? Just tell your plans. Damn. 'They' were right!
This is cool! I like the ghostly figures. What made you choose the laundromat?
Hey greenheron! Thanks! What made me choose the laundromat? Well..., they're my friends. The ghosts, I mean. And, they were there.
Even though the abode i inhabit has a washer and dryer, i'd be highly inclined to occassionally patronize a laundromat that inspired such representations of reality and clientele who could appreciate such transformations to the relative abstract.
I didn't see where you cussed, Julie. You don't seem like the cussing sort to me, tho I can relate to "well..., they're my friends. The ghosts I mean," since Kansas City Paranormal Investigations, the Ghost Hunters-type outfit that investigated my house on Strawberry Hill, told me it was the most paranormally active residence they ever worked in. Can't say I considered the ghosts there my friends since at least some of 'em are pretty damn evil and most of the rest are plenty creepy and disturbing as hell, but still, I miss my place. Haunted or not it's my home, and I feel something similar going on when I read your words and look at the images here and from your post a year ago.
It is alot like that, here. More woods though. Those are great pictures. I'm going to have to come back to this later on this afternoon.
moki, hey! You would have fit right in. :-)
I'm trying to decide what to do, this fine pretty day, the last of the month. Cold, sunny and windy. Been driving by the cemetery, but haven't been in there, for a good long time, before christmas anyway. Right around Thanksgiving, we saw some deer there at night. Since then, I drive by there every day on my way, and from the road those raggedy ass christmas decorations still hanging around, and figure...yeh, it's time. I enjoy walking the rows when the sun is shining, and the wind is blowing. It's cold out, today! 33 degrees F. Almost 80 during the day, the day before. Odd weather we're having....
