There is zero question in the mind of any intelligent person (at least those who aren't "living the agenda!") that Israel has one of the most brutal and maliciously abusive police and military on the planet. Anyone who would say differently has either been living under a rock for the last 70 years or is outright lying.
They have developed their "expertise" through the implementation of their apartheid policies and by "experimenting" with different forms of abuse developed in the "laboratories" of Gaza and the West Bank.
The brutality and abuses committed by Israeli's paramilitary police forces have been condemned by virtually every country in the United Nations... with the glaring exception of the United States who supports them.
One of the biggest and best methods Israel has used to gin up "support" for their apartheid state is by teaching their brand of aggression and heartless, thoughtless and ethic-less brutality to US police forces.
"Israeli" branded police brutality and disregard of human rights is a significant "driver" of the ever increasing assaults on members of the LGBTQ community, people of color and women.
This is seen by not only the assaults and murders of people of color by the police themselves, but also by the police's acceptance of/turning a blind eye towards right wing groups like the Proud Boys who routinely rant against and assault members of the LGBTQ community, feminists, anyone to the left of Mussolini and anyone who isn't from an acceptable Christian "sect".
A good example of this was after the Proud Boys Rally in NYC this weekend the participants ran rampant through the streets, assaulting anyone who was a "not" (i.e. not white enough, not straight enough, not Christian enough, not male enough, etc.).
The police response to this? They arrested a few of the fucking victims and not a damn one of the Proud Boys.
As I said, I (and MANY others) believe that a significant part of the surging police brutality and their allowing right wing groups free reign is because of the training in brutality received while being trained in Israel.
"How can that be?", you might be asking yourself. "It's not like that many go there, right?"
The answer is "OH HELL YES! it is that many!"
Thanks to the work of the "Palestine is Here!" project, created by the Researching the American-Israeli Alliance (RAIA), you can now see just how systemic "trained to kill" in Israel has become.
BTW, before the hasbara spinners start to slam RAIA as a bunch of anti-Semitic pro-Palestinian trolls, it should be noted that RAIA's Executive Director has worked with the International Criminal Court and participated in numerous UN investigations, has had his reporting appear in The New York Times, The Washington Post, & The Guardian and currently serves as a board member of Jewish Voice for Peace. The rest of RAIA's Board of Directors consists of three women and one man who, collectively, are members of the LGBTQ community, people of color and who are Jewish.
Okay, back to letting you see just how ingrained Israel's form of police brutality has become... follow the link to the "Palestine Is Here" projects interactive map of which police forces across the US have received training in Israel. You'll be astounded!
