I would not be concerned
what to wear toward
one big show
my re-buttoned 49 YO
Sargent Pepper epaulette*
*An ornamental shoulder piece on an item of clothing, especially on the coat or jacket of a military uniform
shirt
over my cool John Lennon Portrait T
my County Zoo green-billed cap
remembering Agnew
podium pounding
and how the black-haired
beauty and me
had to flee
mounted police
swinging sticks
nor awake in the Rustbelt
in the morning I go
sunning
Nor re-up the paper route
before the boy disappeared
how far off
that gin mill on Lake Madonna
how's it go
Lake Mendota, Dane County Fishing Reports and Discussions
neither worry about
one more time:
Cenny's Cardboard
Car bands, over the hill
gypsies Hey
I salute
well
knowing ONE MORE TIME
Nero rimes so good with
Hero
Or engage cap lady
to custom fit my ONLefty
ragged shirt, A kool kap

(more later)
John Perry Barlow,
won't be seen
we'll be free
won't we?

Newport to New Haven! People in motion. (bluebird has ascended)!

What? That I should invest 20 more minutes to locate my collegiate gonzoesque Mayor Soglin interview ??.

Cover: That M-16 on its stock with a daisy in it. I've five copies!

"The morning glory flower is a flower of duality. The Victorian meaning of morning glory is either love or mortality or love in vain."

In the multiverse of my mind I often think of what might have been.

This gave me lots to think about.

Morning glory stories lay a petal path to and from good medicine.

Delete me all you like, dear j.p., I’ll still cook you up a plate of eggs and bacon, mea culpa cuppa coffee, milk, sugar ~

Carpe diem Foolish Monkey!  Often I wish Alex Trebec were POTUS. He's got all the right answers!

I've been thinking lately of the call not to vote for anyone who has taken money from the NRA.  I can see some conflicts that will require making a judgement call, like a Democrat who took money in the past running against a Republican "Freedom Caucus" type who has never run for office and has not taken money from the NRA, YET.  For the first time I may be a single issue voter this go round.  Still, that alternative would give me pause.

I like the kid who wants to change the name of the AR-15 to a Marco Rubio because both are so easily bought.

Sorry, J.P., we're getting away from morning glories.

BTW, it at least used to be illegal to plant morning glories in Arizona because they like to grow all over crops.

ONLefty jacket? What's that look like?

Comment by J.P. Hart on February 26, 2018 at 7:41am

K-TY

Twas referring to my shirt that I've had since late winter 1967.  Spring clearance, Marshall Fields---or was it from Chapman's finery?  I'd a high school weekend/evening gig fund raising door to door, soliciting the expanse of bedroom communities and suburbs in SEast WI.  The employer (a group or cotre of UW attorneys)---Citizens for a Better Environment. Our focus was on alert of wanton discard of industrial transformers into Loch Michigan.  Polyflorinatedbyfenals were/still are?/ poisoning our Great Lakes. Fast-forward five (5) decades (you know how it blurs). O!pen Salons' ONLefty's avatar wore an identical shirt:  MACC FUND mauve, flannel, brighter flamingo pink crisis-crosses large vanilla squares, cross-hatched black grid, grey woolten  pixels---(like those symmetrical road center lines on every highway) . . . And the lining!  Silent night blue! Bluer than midnight midsummer. Mallard green label: WORK-SHOP Made in India . . . the logo is a Singer sewing machine. I'd wear to poetry readings at John Hawkes Pub: other poets: R. Watts, Moby Dick, Fist Eddie, Elvira. Harp Lady, Sinew Stuart. You know those votives that flicker whenever that round-top ton-weight door opened?

(to be continued---{essential candy-colored clown, hey?)
