i'm not a fan of oregon. but our protestors & senator rock. bannon & fucking 45/the putz has made me fat. that is an impeachable offense for sure.

so i'm very proud that there are protests every day here. there is no let up. the protestors are committed and mostly peaceful. they did the same things during Occupy. so many of them has nothing else to do but i am still proud.

the other positive thing. Jeff Merkeley is our senator and he is a good guy, an excellent guy. (and very cute which is just a side benefit.) he's on Rachel Maddow tonight as one of the Dems who is fighting to get 41 of the 48 senators to filibuster the supreme court nominee. i googled that can't find the current status of this.

but Bannon is in the inner circle now. unprecedented that the president's pal is in on these security briefings. so we have a White Supremacist/Bigot/racist in on classified decisions.

as you guys all know, pundits and experts are beside themselves because none of this has ever happened. ever. there is a process for introducing executive orders. a thorough process. this never happens. same deal with a supreme court nominee. we are so fucking fucked. thank God for these judges and corporations who are standing up to the Ban. not that 45 gives a shit. I'm sure his take is, "it's going really nicely." not that i can bear to watch him/see him saying anything at all for more than a nanosecond.

bring on the emoluments and his prosecution for leaving out countries with which he does business. more emoluments.

and oh, yes, i have never been fatter. ever. and i had 3 donuts today. of the ones i plan to bring to the building potluck that is breakfast as dinner. i blame 45/the puts who....

having moved from North Carolina to New York, I went from having senators bankrolled by the Kochs to Chuck Schumer.

Are you kidding me? Showing up at the "Breakfast for Dinner Potluck" short a donut is valiant and a political statement on its own.

How did that go?

oh, i love you, aka. thanks for coming by. the potluck isn't until tomorrow so the box of donuts is down way more than one by now. thankfully, it turned out that my scale was messed up. the cleaners put in its side and blah blah blah...

and, you are right, eating a lot of donuts and getting fat is a political statement. it's the sacrifice that i make for this already great nation.

jmac, thanks, man.
