Last time I logged into my second life I was wearing about five different hair dos....It took awhile to click them all away and I ended up being a red head because I couldnt delete that one. Sometimes an alternate reality consists of just playing paperdoll however there are some serious times when your avatar becomes more real than you are.

We are seeing a shift in time and space. The internet is providing us with so much information that we have too many choices. Then there is the question about what is true. Which hair do I go with that is really ME?

The answer in real life is that I am losing my hair with big bald spots on the top and old white straggles below. Im turning into a crone and my skin shows it too. Is it any wonder I enjoy going to a Second Life where I can be young again?

I spent about five years immersed in Second Life and I still have good friends that I met there. I rarely go anymore because it is just too advanced for me. We are coming into a world that is not going to be recognizable in fifty years. It will be entertainment and illusion...we are already seeing a cartoon President and wars with drones.

It is ok by me. Real life is too painful and depressing. Let's play.

A lady from mom's neighborhood in San Diego just posted..."No worries. After a slight correction we will be right back on track. That is how America works."

Noooooooo.  I try to keep my right wingers off my fb feed without deleting them but it doesnt work.  They sneak into all the posts that I say I like or I post and they put in their little two cents.  Facebook has no setting to keep people from doing that and it annoys me.  This cyberlife I lead can get quite stressful and very real.

Bald looks unexpectedly good

love all your avatars!!! i envy you having had a life on Second Life. i couldn't even begin to figure it out. what a joy to be able to create alternate lives and looks and experiences! the red hair is fabulous.

i know what you mean about the Crone thing. i'm not there yet. still got the hair. but it's not shiny anymore. it's dulled from so much coloring. and there is some recession going on. but i'm not the woman person that i was before. i feel less visible over time. thank god for cocoa chanel getting so much attention and for my getting to be a part of that. but then i see these women who are a few decades older than me, in their 80s and such and they are rocking the jeans and the sneakers/trainers and/or the bohemian colorful tunics and shawls and such -- i am a fashion gal but it's the attitude that does with it -- and often the spiky hair. they are saying fuck it, so i'm old or older but that doesn't mean i can't be vibrant and youthful in my presentation to the world. or that i can't participate. and that gives me hope. i've always wanted to be 80 and not give a shit, to be Ruth, shit, i hate when i can't remember shit, in Harold and Maude!!! or the where's the beef lady!!

I loved Ruth Gordon... Harold and Maude. My mom was a babe at 96 when she died and she was all dressed up in full make up after a day of shopping when she slumped over and was gone in twenty minutes with her neighbor by her side. She was a pistol. Still is. I can feel her in me. I know she is commenting on how I take care of myself. sigh...

You are a gorgeous lush sexy sensual woman, and I absolutely love your beautiful white hair! I look at yours and I think I should just stop dyeing mine. Your avatars are all pretty snazzy, too. I once made an avatar for myself on a video game where I was a blue alien lizard-woman with an incredible figure and a lovely reptile tail. It was fun!
