Last night I voted in the NY primary. For Governor, I voted for Cynthia Nixon.

This morning, I was informed that, in public, she ordered lox, cream cheese, tomatoes, onions, and capers

on a cinnamon raisin bagel.

Some sins are cardinal. I may have to Repent.

I might have forgiven her that had she articulated a fiscal basis for the programs she espouses.

I got annoyed at Cuomo for tax breaks for the wealthy

I hate very few "things", but, cinnamon raisin bagels are one of them. What a horrible concoction, and to slaughter it with all the good stuff is disgusting. She has kept her figure despite all the sugar ... lets hope she is an agent for change outside cuisine.

I personally think a cinnamon raisin bagel is actually a somewhat tough doughnut.

yup, like a ten day old cake donut,, something's missing in the center but one's plenty when half would do.

Though, unlike a donut, cream cheese does help

Cinnamon raisin bagels? Ick. Just...no.

I miss NY bagels, but strangely, the local Safeway bakery department makes some pretty good bagels, albeit inconsistently.
The other local grocery store's bagels are so bad we call them "fakels" and only get them if we are desperate for cream cheese and lox and Safeway is out of bagels (the smoked salmon here is absolutely wonderful).

bagel w/o cream cheese can be  like french American fries  w/o ketchup, kalua swine w/o poi and lomi salmon, prime rib w/o horseradish, a neighborhood without a neighbor

How that could have been ordered and then consumed by anyone without a big dollop of mayonnaise is unbelievable.
