EASY

how does one come by Easy?
how to attract, align, embrace?
what magic in the ether
puts this rightfully in its place?

what is the gift of pique, or rift,
what it is that embraces or rejects?
i guess it is just gut instinct,
the Invisible that guides our quest.

Life is almost like liquid.
you slide, you glide on its bones.
the ride is the tide you intended,
and Bravery is calling it your own.

oh, how others buoy you.
ohh, how Others breathe.
you beckon them to stay or move away
depending upon what you perceive.

Chance is a glance to contend with;
you put your soul on the line.
you think your wish for completion,
in hopes of finding a Place to align.

and if you are so lucky
to find the grandeur of Response
you know, alert in consciousness,
that it Exists, so need begins by wants.

there is no tap for the Wellspring;
you cannot bottle it up.
and if you don't see it as a commodity,
it's also easily left for naught.

every action begets a reaction;
hunger, trade, even greed.
and a glimpse of notice by another
holds the signal to engage, or leave.

you can only be who you are thus far;
you can only grow by what you're willing to give.
but also by what you disallow,
just like birds, your words direct how you live.

recognition is a grand gift,
but the mysteries felt of another’s mind
can chase them away if you say it;
so you learn discernment and allowing for time.

so, i guess Experience has its own Voice;
it is in Others who see it in your face.
the marks from the puddles and wings of Life,
that attracts them back to your own need of grace.

and as such you can don your own Motherlode,
pride both foibles and survivals, and reach;
to know the two, and choose, anew,
when time comes 'round again to navigate a breach.

Credo, bond, affection.
cognition, unfolding, embrace.
tears and smiles all mingle
as Life slowly swings you toward your proper place.

so i guess i have found my answer:
Ease is this very thing.
to Allow, to bow to another’s heart,
and harmonize with the song they sing.
