It is one of the purest forms of hypocrisy I have ever seen when Democrats, who accused Trump and the Republicans of voter suppression and disenfranchising thousands of voters, want to cause the Electorial College to disenfranchise millions of voters.

I have no love of the Electorial College, which is Elitist political manipulation at its finest (I mean just look at who the freaking electors are, ffs), but using it to replace one self-serving, Elitist demagogue with the self-serving, Elitist demagogue YOU want coronated in the midst of an ongoing election cycle is total bullshit.

Well, by that thinking Ron, the only people who are "qualified" to be president are the Elitists who are already in power.  By my estimation that makes the US a royalty run oligarchy with Hillary Antoinette and Donald "The Dauphin" Trump ruling us. We all know how well that worked for the French back in 1799.  You'd think we'd have learn better by now.

The very electoral college designed to save us from Trump ^ has served the opposite purpose then, isn't it. It's absolutely hysterical I think. If Hillary had her way it wouldn't have come to this. James Comey would be gagged and bound in her closet, contemplating suicide. The media that "turned on her" would be silenced through coercion, or bribery, or whatever it takes. Couldn't be, no way, that she is just a despicable, conniving, contrived sociopath bent on bucktoothed smarmy world domination. We think there's rioting now ... overturn the fucking election results and re-write the electoral college laws for the sake of anointing Hillary, POST ELECTION. Yeah, that's the ticket.

It would unleash the hounds for sure.  No, I think we just have to get through four years of RED and maybe that will wake people up and galvanize something better in 2020.  Maybe you could run, Amy

So either the EC disenfranchises trump voters or it disenfranchises Clinton voters. As it stands, Clinton won the popular vote. That's what motivates the effort to influence faithless electors, not all the paranoid, ideological, Hillary hating bullshit blinding so many.

While Al Gore cries in his coffee, "What am I? Chopped livah'?"

A guy was shot a bit more than a mile away from my house the other night at a "peaceful" protest, at the base of the bridge into the center of downtown.

19 more were arrested last night in the pepper fog.

I'll leave it up to those who want, to decide on the relative merits and possible outcomes if "faithless" electors emerge on 12/19.

If I could predict the future I would have replaced Miss Cleo on late night TV.

So,what are you saying Ron?  That Trump was right?  That seems to be the standard Clintonian "Two wrongs don't make a right, so let's try for three wrongs and see what happens" thinking, IMO.

Anna (hiya, toots!), Al Gore is more likely crying into his organic, gmo free, green tea.  His problem is that he didn't have total control of the MSM to promote something like that.  I'd also like to believe that he had MUCH higher morals and ethics than Ms. Clinton and wouldn't try to pull shit like disenfranchising millions of people to gain power.

Zanelle, two, straight, white, qualified people like Bernie and Jill couldn't make a dent in the Elitist oligarchy.  Somehow I doubt a queer, tan, "unqualified" person would have much of a chance. LOL

"accused Trump" --- come on, accused of voter suppression? The GOP is built on the back of voter suppression!!! Pretending otherwise is ludicrous.

This has all been fun and all people, but read aka's comment and start to understand what you will see now. I was there in the 60s, Reagan ordered us shot and killed at People's Park. You will now see it is what used to be called the Far Left but is now just in reality called normal by sober individuals under 35 to get out in the streets and they will not stop, ever. The Right is a joke in the end, they will protest nothing on the street where it counts, many don't even have streets so how could they? Millennials have just had a terrible joke played on them, but, unlike any generation in herstory, they have access to all the facts and they won't take this. I'm in Oakland today and the damage is everywhere downtown. Portland's worse. What do these two places have in common? Oh yeah, they are the two most leftist cities in the country and they also have enormous outsize influence on Millennials socially and culturally. I'm standing in the future today, too bad the present is yet another bumpy flight.
