Conservative Social Media Personality Angry About Gillette Ad

Conservative Social Media Personality Angry About Gillette Ad:  Conservative social media personality Graham Allen posted a pic on his Facebook page with both he and his children heavily armed, in protest of the recent controversial Gillette ad about masculinity, bullying and respect for women.

OK, but the first thing I noticed was that everyone in this pic is armed except for the daughter.  What’s up with that?  And where the hell is the mom?  Not to sound conspiratorial, but could the daughter be unarmed as punishment for having shot the mom?  Just asking!

Now to be completely honest,  I really don’t know all that much about the Gillette ad causing all this controversy, but what I do know is - this pic would be a perfect choice for the cover photo for the latest issue of “School Shooter’s Digest.”

I mean, every time I take a look at this photo, the first thing that comes to mind is - I have a feeling it won’t be very long before we’ll all be sending out our “thoughts and prayers” to this family.

But seriously, don’t you think this guy taking the time to pose for - and then post a pic of this nature might be just a wee bit of an overreaction reaction to a simple commercial against bullying?  I guess this proves that Gillette really can irritate a guy’s sensitive skin after all.

That said, I do understand why Trump supporters frequently feel it’s necessary to show off and pose with all their guns.  I mean, to be fair - what choice do they really have?  It isn’t exactly like they can pose with all their diplomas.

How many ways is this picture and this man wrong? What are the odds those children will be bullied by the father? Is that a cottonfield they're standing in? How much longer can this country survive when fools like this are allowed to breed indiscriminately? So many questions ... so few answers ... and so little time.

I went and looked up the ad.

The print over it comes from the media outlet.

Finding fault with this ad is idiotic. The man in this picture would be scary protesting without the firearms. To protest this ad, you’d have to take the opposite positions, which are:

  • It’s OK to watch bullying without doing anything about it
  • It’s OK to harass women
  • It’s OK to allow others to harass women

So, this guy has a daughter who he would apparently like to see harassed and sons who he would apparently like to see become bullies, apathetic bystanders, or both. And for this he wants to boycott Gillette?

Gillette just got more of my business.
