There's always a danger when you are that camoed up that you might shoot each other, particularly when you are of the mentality that shoots at anything that moves.

Drunk deer hunters in Wisconsin unfortunately have no one to blame but themselves.

I considered posting a link to Jerry Jeff Walker doing "Up Against the Wall, Redneck Mother," but that seems too obvious.

I considered posting a link to Ray Wylie Hubbard doing "Screw You, We're From Texas," in which he mentions Dicky Neely's old stomping grounds, Port Aransas. I reconsidered that. As Ray Wylie himself is fond of saying, "The problem with irony is not everybody gets it."

I rejected Ray Wylie's "Snake Farm," because I feared that you may have tended bar there at some point or another in your checkered career.

Let us just pretend that I posted a link to some appropriate music video here and call it good.

Odd. Just a couple of days ago in another venue I proposed that my favorite blues line is, "If it weren't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at at all."

Then David Kinne from Austin reminded me of the line, "I'm so sick and tired of being sick and tired." I immediately had to revise my rankings.
