If an Antifa Assaults a White Supremacist and is Shot, is it Murder?

terry and Amy and Nana all made HATEFILLED COMMENTS, which, under my new policy of Absolute Free Speech, I deleted as being too hate filled to be viewed by the delicate readers of Oursalon. Fear not, they will reappear for your viewing pleasure in a posting of Juicy Cow Fart Comments (Bullshit and Hot Air) when the current technical difficulties have passed.

I'll rephrase the question posed here, since it will become topical

Let's say I'm out taking part in a peaceful protest on either side of an issue, and someone approaches me with obvious intent to strike me with either a club or a knife. I will at that point, pull out the north American arms .22 magnum revolver that is cleverly concealed in a sunglass case, and put five rounds center mass on the assailant. This is what is known as Self Defense, especially in a stand your ground state. Clearly, a justifiable homicide.

Or do you think otherwise?

THAT is the discussion that will soon be current if many more demonstrations like berkeley are allowed to take place. And no, you can't prevent the White separatists from holding protests by banning them..... First Amendment, don't you know.

original posting

Don't you just HATE! Haters?

ME TOO!!

So here's the coming situation. Pro free speech demonstrators march on Berkeley, only to be met by AntiFa “Social Justice Warriors” armed with clubs and and knives who attack the pro speech rally, causing broken bones and crushed skulls.

The Berkeley police do nothing.

From somewhere on the flank of the melee, a pro speech marcher opens up with a mac-10, saving the life of a fellow protester who is being clubbed to death by Antifa thugs.

Three thugs are killed.

OK Judge Judy, sort this one out for me.....

The forethought of malice by showing up at a hot button (peaceful or not) demonstration, with a concealed pistol, could cause a jury to see it as negligent homicide.

So no...to the question.

clearly that would depend on the specific circumstances and applicable state law    your question cannot be answered

.

if the dead alleged antifa happened to actually be an undercover, false flag militant,  it’d be called a friendly fire event, not murder.

From time to time my commute on a NJ Transit train is interrupted because of a suicide.  I never cease to be annoyed at those who decided to take there last walk in front of my commuter train."

I find this comment extremely insensitive and hate filled. Besides, using the standards of "the new free speech," I get to define "Hate Speech", so that just naturally includes anything you say.
As to a question? I didn't see one..... unless you mean your "Really Token - free speech?".. which I presume you mean to refer to the original free speech march, and not the antifa suppression thereof..... come on, terry, whether you agree or not, and particularly if you don't, there exists a first amendment right to peacefully gather to petition the government... for you to deny that they had that right is the height of Hypocrisy. (Which I find HATEFUL!.)

Conservative lives are worth 3/5 of liberal lives, and carving up all these eyes and teeth into fifths is messy and difficult, and I'm not a mathematician so I don't have a formula ready off the top of my head.

I would have to say this is about the oddest blog I've ever read. First thought - I don't have a clue how to answer.  I think I'd have to be there.

But if I was there, I'd prob get instantly snuffed.

Then again, I'm as strong as an ox and I do tend towards cantankerousness, so I might kick some stupid ass (in my estimation anyone going after me is all kinds of stupid).  I may be old AND infirm but I'm formidable,

See how my comment is all about me?  Thats how these things go.  In the end it's never about a higher principle.  It becomes me to you, you to me and getting it ON.

Making the whole thing really stupid and pointless.

As such, I'd stay home and fuck all of them.

Wowzers!  A better title for this might be If A Libertarian Snowflake Does A Post About Revenge Fantasies Designed To Draw False Equivalencies Between Racist Losers And Those Who Oppose Them Then Gets His Panties All In A Wad When Commenters Quite Properly Call Him Out On It, Deletes The Comments Then Re-posts The Same Hypothetical Hot Mess Again But With Butt-Hurt References To The Mean Ol' Commenters This Time Around, Does It Mean He Is A Sissy Or Just A Laughable, Thin-Skinned OCD Sufferer Who Can Dish It Out But Can't Take It?
