Kansas, Missouri, New Hampshire, Massachussetts, Idaho, Florida, California(North), California(South)
San Diego is so far from the Bay Area, and so different in so many ways, that I counted Cali twice. But... did I put too many double-connsonantts in Massachussetts? What a ridiccullous name for a state!
Whoah! Hang on now, wait just a minute there hoss... The title of this post says it's an idle, trivial, utterly non-controversial question, but now I'm thinkin on it for a minute, I'm starting to wonder how do I know you're not really working for Google or the DNC or FSB or the feds or Juanito's boys from the West Side tryna get some demographic and such-like info on me which they can then sell to other organizations what can use it to figure out where I shop and whether I wear briefs or boxers and maybe even where I live so they can shoot me in the motherfucking head when I go out in the back yard to take a pee?
I'm not asking where you shop, what cities you've lived in, whether you're married, whether you have kids, what you do for fun, or anything else useful to advertisers, including whether you have an outhouse.
I haven't answered yet: New York, Maryland, Ohio (college), DC, Indiana, North Carolina.
That's in order but leaves out second times I've lived places. I recently moved back to New York after 46 years, though to a region I'd never lived.
Overseas I lived in the Panama Canal Zone, but that was from birth to about three months old.
I'm curious about lifelong mobility.
TABG, good answer, though you've probably left out confusion
But you haven't lived in North Neurosis, West Guilt, or New Debauchery?
After TABG, what's to say? :)
Well: PA HI VT NV (family home was moved from Philadelphia, PA, to Cambridge, MA, tho I was not 'permanent' in MA)
and PR China, City of Tianjin (tho the affinity I feel for Hong Kong makes it almost count)
...and now, since 2001 just before the Twin Towers went down, MD, 27 mi nw of the Pentagon crash site
CT, CA, MA, NY, NJ, OH, DC,, MS, OK, TX, NV:
Combination of family, higher education, military service, and career....
Indiana, Florida, Texas, California and New Mexico. Worked for a year in the PRC China.
Never heard about your PRC experience and where in Indiana? I lived in Lafayette for ten years.
