Things do not have to be so complicated.

Worry about this, worry about that.

Talk too little. Talk too much.

You say I said you said I thought you thought I said something else.

I did.

"Do all the good that you can

In all the ways that you can

In all the places you can

At all the times you can

To all the people you can

As long as ever you can."

I confuse so easily.
Maybe I should have something checked.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Very nice indeed. That John Wesley quote is great.

Waiting for eldest child to show up today, and one of the twins may come tomorrow. It's all very casual. I make the same Thanksgiving dinner even when it's just us and the cats.

You're right. Things do not have to be so complicated.

Coming from a splinter off a splinter from the Presbyterian church I know a little about Calvin.  I realized reading this that I know little about Wesley.  That is a pretty adequate map for life.

I overate at a potluck held by mostly humanists yesterday.  There was turkey, a lot of vegetable fixed a number of ways; some recognizable, some not.  The group pretty much follow Wesley's advice without really knowing it.  It just seems right for the community of most of us.

Hope your  day of Thanksgiving was good.

Rosi and Rodney,

Our day was fine. No leftovers for us since we went elsewhere.Per our own tradition we'll cook a bird today, and I have a batch of creamed Brussells Sprouts with sweet onions ready.

Thanks for reading and writing.
