Me too.  Can't say that it will make your life easier, but more often than not, it's easier to get to sleep.

We can be our own harshest critics, and each time we face one of theses internal conflicts we have to ask ourselves whether we have the strength to stand up and whether this is the hill we are willing to die on.  

Still, I agree with JMac, I sleep better.  And when you sleep well you have more strength for the next conflict.

Yes, I agree Rodney Roe. Self-criticism can often serve a good purpose, such as when we DO need to work on improving something in ourselves, but tends to also be distorted sometimes & inaccurate. We can be very hard on ourselves, more so than on others. (Although for some it's the opposite.) Or as I like to put it, "I can be my best WORST enemy." Cheers. ;-))
