The idea of a WH Press Corps boycott is, yes, a double-edged proposition....there are clear downsides...my sense is, though, that these reporters are skilled...will get the information they/we need absent attendance...so I can support a boycott until these abominations against the press end.

Good Day!

What if Trump called for a press conferences and nobody showed up?

As long as the reporters weren't seeking to make news, I would be in full support of such direct action....

Good caveat, Ron.

Other than the grandstanding of power that is shown, what do we think we'd miss? We certainly do not obtain information at this point.

They would not miss a lot, no.

I agree. What if Trump held a presser and nobody showed up?  That would hurt him more than anything else! And, Jonathan, clearly, we would miss nothing!

I've been screaming at the TV for some time now, yelling at the reporters, "Get up and walk out! Leave the slimy bastard standing there with egg on his pussy-fat face. Better yet, I'm waiting for the day one of those reporters responds to tRump's nastiness with "Who the hell (or fuck) do you think you are?" I suspect I'll be waiting a looooong time.
