From Fascism to Feudalism: Serfing the Web of Life

So...I had to gas up. I missed my three week between fill ups goal by a few miles, but  that is still less than half of what I was burning until after the midterm election. I’m not driving today, and when it stops raining I will hike to the bay and beach.

I wonder how much individual home ownership will expand now that the tax laws have been even  more twisted in favor of landlords?  I’m a broken hip away from losing my house...most of us are. My taxes are up, but landlords all over the country are enjoying new tax laws that were written...by a president and family who happen to be ...landlords.

I  not a fan of landlords. I’m less of a fan of landlords then I am of public education. I’d rather be living indoors than educated; if forced to choose between the two, that is. I’m afraid that public education will go soon enough, as landlords squeeze down their payments that support programs that they cannot see as immediately beneficial.

My loss is their gain, and their windfall, or part of it, will further serve to game the system in their favor. I’m feeling the squeeze already, as half of my not yet arrived first Social Security check will go back to the government to pay a substantially higher federal tax bill.

Fair minded people in Ameica  have never experienced a time when information was easier to get to. Flooding the web with endless amounts of crap has complicated the process, but facts still can be found.

Critical thinking skills still need to be acquired, but not necessarily in a traditional classroom.  Do we want to move out of chaos and into feudalism? Trump has ruined it for American Fascism by stirring, not shaking, awake generations  of web savvy, fair minded people who slept through decades of American Fascism...too early. Trump’s deluded feudal mindset could not grasp the fine print of American Fascism, and so chaos now reigns.

When forced to choose between more fascism or this chaos, from which  a new , post fascist state could possibly emerge, well, ok. I’m not the least bit afraid to vote for a socialist. I’m not a landlord, or driving.

I have no problem serving. Service is an art from, and I have the paper work to prove I have earned the M.A. credential.  I will not stand, or serve a deluded landlord, yet, I will pay his taxes, as I wait patiently for 2020.

I am a good waiter, here in the hills, pecking away...fearlessly optimistic that the kids will find their footing. I’ll follow it all on Facebook, not driving.

Feudalism is a good description of where we’re going.

Feudalism is essentially an agrarian economic and political construct which would be about as viable today as forty acres and a mule would be...

That flag meme is missing a qualifier. Among what group of nations?

I’m with the kids...in spirit, because DC sucks. I’m in the hills in the doublewide, pecking away at it, because Obama failed  to support Occupy. With a little help tthey might have prevented Trumpism’s rise. Remember Occupy, Open Salon, and Serfing the web...or don’t. I can’t remember shit anyway.

Thanks for you serfice, fellow peons! May the face be with you!

One missing qualifier regarding the "American Exceptionalism" banner above could be that  the noted social and economic immoralities and dysfunctions are in comparison to other so-called "First World" nations.  The social and economic dysfunctions of every Latin American country and other countries where the U.S. has for generations been subverting the will of the inhabitants, murderously imposing capitalUSthegemony with impunity, cannot fairly be compared to the United States.

The term "First World" refers to so called developed, capitalist, industrial countries, roughly, a bloc of countries aligned with the United States after World War II, with more or less common political and economic interests: North America, Western Europe, Japan and Australia. --nationsonline.org

I'm amused when someone says he owns his land.  Don't pay property tax or income tax then the true owner of the land will find someone else to pay the tax.  Rarely have i met anyone, being in the 'everyone else' base of this fascist capitalist society, this economic militarist culture who even so much as 'owns' his land unencumbered by financial instruments.
