It also happened in North Carolina. My old rabbi Facebooked about it (I’m not on, my wife saw it) and I posted about it. Yes, we have a problem.

Maybe this is why we ought simultaneously hand-held-dash-board CD- loudly sound-radio that Dave Matthews Band rendition of All Along the Watchtower when the polls open day after tomorrow. Usurpation of the Magna Carta* at this phase of the 'clear and present' plausibly of the obliteration of humankind (or even the innuendo of such (like a constant halo or an aura of absconder evidence of quick-sand-like under thin ice impinged-tampered'the
most sacred of all rights of free people) is not, IMO, going to encourage/persuade young and OK many 'fence sittin' oldsters' from braving this cold November rain surge and dead-leaves-strewn-slick=pavement and slog to the polls...
Phyllis, I mean really??
And has the meme changed from 'an exercise in futility' from not voter obstruction to 'vote reduction'.
Hence (here I am again a day late and a $ short) it would be an EZ simplistic CPA-Top Secret-NSA project to impose a self-addressed envelope audit and recount wherein I (you and me, Philly) could request an original notarized copy of our ballot via U.S.P.O.
You know: paper trails, can come through, it could happen to you.
Whatismore loyal reader would appreciate source of your alarming post. Apparently my pt. would also serve to resolve the 'near-harping-undertow' of how the U.S.P.O. is broke from the get-go! There's got to be a damn-real modicum of effort of keeping the our vote sacred and the PO solvent other than selling those way-cool John Lennon stamps.
Or simply thumb-print the ballot. And allow the cyber-savants to 'sample' bonify our blood-shed freedom.

*Magna Carta, which means 'The Great Charter', is one of the most important documents in history as it established the principle that everyone is subject to the law, even the king, and guarantees the rights of individuals, the right to justice and the right to a fair trial.

Here's the rub:

The machines seem to be switching votes for Democrats to votes for Republicans...

The Republicans are dirty enough to use the "fault" to try to overturn or nullify the results in areas effected if the outcomes aren't to their liking..

They'll cry foul even where nary a Republican vote is altered or lost due to a mechanical failurel or electronic malfunction that is of their own doing...

The Republicans know demographics doom them to becoming a third-rate Party in the not so distant future, but they are unwilling to cede power. They are by nature inclined toward autocracy, rather than democracy, and they are possessed of a win at any cost mentality. Thus, they subscribe to Stalin's dictum that "having the vote means nothing, counting the vote means everything." Unfortunately, a democracy depends absolutely on the people's faith in elections; and once that is lost, so is the democracy. Let us hope and pray the Democrats at least take the House, or I'm afraid all is lost.

It's already happening in Georgia!

Kemp, the Republican candidate for governor, is already crying about a Democratic cyber attack on the voter registration system he controls...

He's the Georgia Secretary of the State, as such he is in charge of the electoral process there...

If you can't smell a rat in that, you don't have a nose....

Voters reported that in Texas, too. Republicans to Dems

I voted absentee with a paper ballot in Georgia. Ingenious minds will find ways to cheat.

What a crock'o'shit! Kemp and the Repugs have openly attacked the Georgia system with rampant, surgical precision, i.e. voter suppression. I'd wager a large sum that if there is an outside attack on the Georgia system, it's by the Russians. The irony in the Kemp fiasco is that HE is in charge of protecting the state's voting system, and HE turned down federal help, after the Feds warned HIM the state's system was vulnerable to attack back in 2016. Now HE is calling for help from the Feds, when it looks like HE might lose. Seems to me HIS ploy ought to disqualify HIM  from HIS present job, as well as the job HE is shooting for. But that obvious irony and conclusion will likely be lost on a lot of Georgia voters, proving yet again that ignorance and willful blindness are rampant in the electorate.

Ron Powell, as a Georgia resident I am particularly embarrassed by the blatant tampering that Kemp has engaged in by means of taking thousands of people off of the rolls for minor inconsistencies between means of I.D. and by not recognizing some forms of I.D. that blacks might be more apt to use.

Most of those removed are black.  As Secretary of State he oversees that process, but in order to avoid the appearance of tampering and voter suppression he should have recused himself from that process.  Now he has thrown up a smokescreen of cyber attacks in order to cause doubt in the process and to call for a recount when Stacey Abrams comes out ahead.  He is as vile as the person in the White House.
