Apparently unable to contain himself, Trump's open use of a deletable expletive to disparagingly describe the  homelands, or the geographical heritage, of virtually every black and brown person on the planet, is but a half a step away from the most vile epithet in the English language.

So, here's the question:

Is Trump’s open use of the "N" word very far behind?

A simple "yes" or "no" will do quite nicely. Thanks...

An afterthought and side note:

If you take pride in making a conscious effort to avoid using the "N" word in order to escape the appearance, or being accused, of being a racist, you are engaged in an excise of white privilege:
....And you're still part of the problem. ..

Are you guys, reading the question correctly?

Comment by Robert Young on January 13, 2018 at 8:48am

the question is stated ambiguously so:

yes - means use is far behind, i.e. not likely

no - means use is in near future, i.e. certain

so: yes

I am reading the question correctly, as Robert says. I don’t read Trump as quite stupid enough to do something quite that blatant and unambiguous. The Shithole comments were obvious but his people could make the case that it was about economics and the reason he was comparing to Norway is that the Norwegian leader had just been in the White House. I don’t believe it but there’s enough theoretical ambiguity that someone might.

When he crosses the other line, there is absolutely no ambiguity. There is no more code. There is no more dog whistle. At that point, the only way his Party backs him up is to put up a big sign at the RNC that says We Are Racists, and no one thinks they can afford that. They rely heavily on that bit of ambiguity. Moderates hear that word and they know that any deniability is gone.

It’s possible, but I don’t predict it.

No one knows.  We just wait and hope he drops dead.  At least I do.

I  believe that someone somewhere will record him using the "N" word in what he believes to be a "safe" scenario or situation...

Out on the golf course perhaps...

As things get more intense I believe his capacity for self control will disappear....Such as it is....

I'm convinced that the "real" Trump was using the "N" word regularly and reflexively behind closed doors...

In my opinion it's just a matter of time. He simply won't be able to act "presidential" enough to overcome the stress and strain of the office. ..

He'll crack and sooner or later he'll use the word against someone or refer to someone with that word within the next twelve months....

If you don't believe me just watch!

If not the N-Word itself it will be coon, jig, jigaboo, pickaninny, Aunt Jemimah, maybe just "Spades" if he is trying to sound cool, yech, Sambo, cotton-picker (and not the racist Senator), Shoe Shine Boy- get over here!, baggy lips, tap dancer, and I could go on but what he won't want it any of these folks counting his money, should he ever get back into a cash business that doesn't rely on international, thrice-hidden via St. Lucia and the Caymans, wire transfers.
