So Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona has made herself a hero in the queer community by vetoing SB 1062, the so-called “religious freedom” bill that would have allowed homophobes to invoke religious beliefs to get around the state’s anti-discrimination laws and close their businesses to LGBT folks.
