Craven Clinton

Clinton at Her Most Craven

Seems like only yesterday that Hillary was chastising Bernie Sanders for proposing free tuition and college debt relief as egregious examples of fiscal irresponsibility. Yet, yesterday, at a Vermont college, she sat beaming and nodding her approval at exactly the same proposals put forth by exactly the same man.

What changed? What else! A precipitous drop in Clinton’s support with college millennials. Votes that were slipping through the net had to be…

Hofstra 2016

Puffing and Huffing at Hofstra

This will not be adding yet another partisan re-hash of last night’s fish fry on Long Island.

The event was a natural consequence of the candidates’ very different approach to debate preparation.

Clinton closeted herself with skilled cosmeticians (both literal and figurative) and liberal academics who refreshed their charge’s ability to regurgitate the political pap that has sustained her and hers for the last 30 years. The…

Downhill Hill

The past few days have underscored the fact that on the issues of due process and racism, Barack and Hillary are hopelessly mired in hypocrisy.

Hillary

In a quasi-comatose drool aboard her plane, Hillary said that neither she nor any other thoughtful person should make any judgment about the NY-NJ bombings until all the “facts” are known. She then retreated to her berth.

A few days later, a revived Hillary makes a hysterical phone call to the Harvey radio show demanding…

Exclusive submissions to publishers

Is a Demand for Exclusive Submissions to a Publisher Reasonable?

Publishers that are willing to consider un-agented submissions divide themselves into three categories;

  1. Those that insist on representations that the submission is exclusive, i.e., that the author is submitting to no other publisher(s) pending a decision from the immediate target publisher
  2. Those that openly invite non-exclusive submissions
  3. Those that say nothing on the…

Repubs are Stupid!

Time for Repubs to Wise Up

As long as Trump was considered a bad joke outlier, elite conservatives had little to lose by dumping on him.

But these are new days. Not only has Trump triumphed over an impressive field of Republican presidential candidates, but in the past few weeks, he has presented a series of rational and measured policy positions, which, by any standard, compare favorably to the lack of policy utterances by Hillary Clinton, who is submerged by…

Hillary's Karmic Cloud

Hillary’s Karmic Cloud

The year is 2008. Primary candidate Hillary Clinton is measuring the White House draperies. Then, in full minstrel mode, Reverend Jeremiah Wright enacts a skit featuring upstart Barack Obama snatching the presidential crown from Hillary’s greedy grasp. Hillary was so close, yet ultimately so far away.

The year is 2016. Hillary has the White House draperies on re-order. Bernie has been easily dispatched by moving into his socialist…
