Christie Just Called Trump a Genius

What a dither Trump is in!  I read a summary of his last speech and I think he is coming unglued.  However that is probably not true.  He and Hilary have both been accused of being robots!  They just go on and on and on.   The Saturday Night Live sketch of the two of them was…

"Go Get Garland"

Obviously things had been quite bungled in Olathe at this point so they sent the cleaner to come in.  Garland Garcia Hall stepped right up to the plate.  Eh,....batter batter batter swing batter.  Good people?  I wouldn't describe them as such.  I find that they are clandestine liars psychopathic stalkers.  I have no respect for someone that comes about something as a lie.  Fresh out of the mouths of Dennis and Steve were their ever faithful so word.  I hadn't formulated how to bring up to…

My Mute TV Intervention

This is, without a doubt, the best time of the year for me, and not just because of the cool, crisp autumn air and New England fall foliage.  The NFL season is in full swing.  The baseball playoffs begin this Tuesday, professional hockey the following week, and I’m following two college football teams.  Yes, October is a veritable cornucopia of a smorgasbord of a goulash for sports fans.

And so it was that I sat down in front of a big screen TV last night.  I hit the…

Clouds Light as Air

Painting from photographs while looking at the clouds passing by can be a challenge.  Moving things are difficult to capture so a picture of something makes it easier sometimes and I combine two or three photos with real life so it isnt just a direct copy.  I am amazed at how…

Italian Cat Grabs $13 Million Inheritance

Italian Cat Grabs $13 Million Inheritance:  A four-year-old one-time stray cat named Tommaso has become the world's richest cat after inheriting more than $13 million from his former owner, a 94-year-old Italian widow of a successful builder.  The cat’s guardian said the first thing the cat will do with the money is purchase a new fur coat.…

Even the Small Stuff is a Miracle

[My 48th birthday is today and I'm getting to spend some quality time with my kids tonight, so if you come by, thank you so much for reading. I guess it might also make more sense if you read the linked story I give at the end before reading my blog].

When my mom turned 40, she had an epic meltdown in the upstairs bathroom of our geodesic dome house on Hazel Dell Road, crying and rocking herself in the bathtub while relaying how disappointed she was in her life, and the myriad… Continue

Summer is Over Second Verse

It is damp and rainy today in NJ and today follows a damp and rainy Friday.  Rain causes leaves to fall, and so for the first time, we have leaves all over our small yard.

I took a few pictures that make the best of the beginning of Autumn.

Hope you enjoy. …

The Inscrutable Chinese

For some long years, clinical trials conducted ex-US have been viewed with suspicion, not always veiled. Now, the Chinese government reveals the depth of the perfidy.

China's food and drug regulator recently carried out a one-year review of clinical trials, concluding that more than 80 percent of clinical data is "fabricated," state media reported.

According to…

For Some Smart Guys, No Room is Big Enough

BILLERICA, Mass.  It’s Friday afternoon at Whimsy Diddle, a start-up that is building an on-line platform for cats who sleep on their owners’ computer keyboards to communicate with each other.  “It’s important in the social media space that you have a unique name for branding and trademark purposes,” say Todd Stroy, the firm’s Chief Whimsy Officer.  “It helps if it sounds really stupid, that seems to attract investment officers at pension funds who are bored with their jobs.”…

Clinton's September Song

Clinton’s September Song

“And the days dwindle down to a precious few…”

Dwindling almost as rapidly as Americans who are acceptable in Her Thighness’s sight.

First we got rid of half of Trump’s supporters.

The latest additions to the unwashed are the bottom feeders who, appropriately enough, live in their parents’ basements. But, having dismissed them as pathetic dreamers, Hillary is now celebrating them, having discovered, that, Holy Cow!, they can…

Police Violence as a Marketing Problem

And please don’t start off by reminding me that police violence is not just a marketing problem - of course it is real too, but this short essay is about one facet of the problem - the widespread distrust of the police in the “black community.”

Oh, and don’t argue that blacks commit more crimes.  In urban areas they may - but that too is another issue altogether. My single focus here is with just one consequence of police…

Miss Universe is Right. = Trump disrespected her.

Trump calls her the worst Miss Universe ever because of her attitude.  She apparently gained weight after winning and "they" were going to fire her but Trump stepped in with a plan to get her to slim down.  He used tough love and had the press come in to record…
