Peeking thru the Windows

Almost midnight

July is not over yet.  There's a full moon tonight, and there was one on the first of July also.

My turn to Mamaw sit.  We've been going in shifts.

Tonight's reading selection is Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith. About one chapter in, seems like it'll be a good read to pass the time 'til…

Space Probe Philae Finds Organic Molecules on Comet

Space Probe Philae Finds Organic Molecules on Comet:  The European Space Agency's probe Philae may be struggling to stay in touch, but still managed to find something very special - several organic molecules - including four never detected before on a comet, which are important building blocks of life.  In addition, the space agency vehemently denied rumors that the Philae probe may have also found debris from flight MH370.…

Karma Attached

Every spiritual being of this earth that I have been given permission to have in my life I always misused them out of my own fears, selfishness and self-centeredness.

The karma attached to my ability to be able to help mom in ways even if they are as simple as transition movements within this life and those lives that were past and are present and…

"Biting THE BALLOT...Women's GUILTY VOTE for HILLARY"! TOP 10 List

As an early "Undecided Woman" - I was thinking - could a woman not vote for Hillary & never carry around any guilt if she loses?

So, like all my conundrums; I gave it to a List:

Reality Has a Liberal "Bias"

Hanging in the lobby of the place I once worked was an excerpt from the speech Winston Churchill gave to the students at the Harrow School in October 1941:

"Never give in

Never, never, never, never…

Study Finds Cool High School Kids Don’t Fare Well

Study Finds Cool High School Kids Don’t Fare Well:  A 10-year study published in Business Insider found that many of the kids who were considered “cool” in high school ended up abusing alcohol and drugs, having trouble maintaining a steady, healthy relationship and often having problems with the law.…

Why Are Republicans So Cra-Cra?

According to the extensive medical research I did last night, schizophrenia is a random disease hitting across social classes and countries. Developmental factors that contribute to schizophrenia are poor nutrition, sleep deprivation, and substance abuse.

My wife said that schizophrenia was contagious in that if you live with a schizophrenia, supposedly you become schizophrenic yourself. Sounded plausible to me, but the literature says it ain't so.

In any event,…

positive scanner update!

okay everybody, this is terri's update:

...if anyone wants an update he is doing better they have taken him off the drip for his heart and going to see how he does on pills. They found bacteria near his stoma and have started antibiotics and hopefully he will be coming home tomorrow probably with a pick line so they can keep the antibiotics going in an IV....

so i think that is good!  always better to have something to treat, than to have no idea,…

One lesson, at least, shines clear out the gloom: the futility of simplistic solutions.  Despite our natural shrinking, we must recognize that the Great War is a normal phase in human evolution.  Europe's [and America's] agony is the inevitable travail of…

A Revolution Brewing On Capitol Hill

Trump Cruz and Meadows the Growing Revolution on Capitol Hill

Ted Cruz said it best when speaking of the failure of the GOP to confront and defeat the president on almost every issue since Republicans took record seats in the House and across the country in 2010, but claimed with only a 1/3 majority of the 3 branches of…

Saving Your Virginity

Some of you gals may recall a time when virginity was a virtue to be guarded. A time when fighting off your date on a Saturday night was a laborious process to be rewarded at some point someday in the future when your beloved dad walked you in white down the aisle. You fought this battle week after week in the front seat of many a car. (Some of you had this struggle at the local Drive-In. If your fathers had known about that, well, one can only imagine. My dad had a rule, " NO DRIVE-INS!" and,… Continue

Stealing Doc Vega’s Thunder! Is Hillary Clinton a CIA Junkie Running for Obama’s Unconstitutional Third Term?

Yes, character of a president has always meant something, just not these days.

In a poorly veiled attempt at humor the Obama White House inadvertently revealed just where the true priorities of his administration lie.  While openly declaring that a third term as POTUS would be unconstitutional, Barak Obama nonetheless asserted that…

To Right Wingers Size Matters

You might say that the verb tense of choice for a natural braggart like Donald Trump is Present Perfect Continuous.  To Trump, everything about him is “great” or “biggest” or “most.” Thus in a recent Twitter post Trump tweeted: “We engender some great love... I have the biggest crowds of anybody by far and I have the biggest standing ovations.”…

Mr. Huckabee's Holocaust

Mr. Huckabee has long believed he's the best friend, that evangelicals are, the savior(s) of Jews and Israel, that without people like him (in positions of influence) Israel and Jews everywhere would fall victim to Muslims, neo-Nazis, online African Princes who want to deposit umpteen billion in y/our bank accounts...name-the- scourge.…
